per cent用法说明

在美国英语中通常合写成percent，其符号为%，使用时注意以下几点：

1. 用作名词，意为“百分之……”，注意以下用法：

①表示表示整体中的部分时，其后通常接“数词+percent of+名词”，意为“……当中的百分之多少”，在通常情况下，其中的名词是特指的，所以通常会带有定冠词或其他表特指的限定词（如his, her, these, those, Tom’s等)。如：

2. 用作形容词，表示“百分之……的”，注意以下用法：

①直接用于名词前作定语，其后不能接介词of，其意为“百分之多少的……”。如：

The union demands a 7% wage hike. 工会要求提高工资7%。

Genius is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. 天才是10%的灵感加上90%的勤奋。

②注意用作形容词与用作名词在结构和意义上的区别，比较：

I pay him four per cent interest. 我付给他4%的利息。

3. 用作副词，表示“百分之……地”，注意以下用法：

①用于修饰形容词或副词（包括其比较级）。如：

②用于修饰动词。如：
