angry的用法

1.be (get) angry with sb.生某人的气。

We were angry with him for keeping us waiting.我们对他让我们久等而生气。

He was angry with his wife. 他对他妻子很生气。

The teacher was angry with me when I was late. 我迟到时老师对我很生气。

Don't be angry with me for not having written. 别因为我没有写信而生我的气。 
I am angry with myself for making such a stupid mistake 我因为犯了这麽愚蠢的错误而在生自己的气 

2.be angry at+名词(对...气愤); 多针对人的言行而言

I was angry at his careless .
Anybody will be angry at being kept waiting so long.

The teacher was rather angry at what you said. 老师对你说的话相当生气。

The man was angry at being kept waiting. 这个人因别人让他久等而很恼火。

The professor was angry at John for cheating in the exam. 教授对约翰考试作弊十分气恼。 
     

有的词书认为：用 with 表示心中感到生气，而用 at 则表示怒气流露于外表，但总的说来此时还是用 with 的场合较多。

The teacher got angry with [at] me. 老师对我生气了。

有的词书认为：at 之后接某人之言行，about 之后接某事，但这种区别并不十分严格，两者常可换用。

He was rather angry at what you said. 他对你说的话相当生气。

I was angry about missing the film. 没看上那部电影我很气恼。

He was angry at being kept waiting. 他因久等而生气。

3.be angry about+名词或名词化的动名词(对...感到气愤) ：仅对事而言。

My sister was angry about missing the film. 没看上那部电影我妹妹很气恼。

She was angry about missing the first bus yesterday.她因昨天没赶上头班公汽而生气。

The old woman often gets angry about little things. 老太太常因琐屑小事发火。

What are you angry about?  你为什麽事生气？

Please don’t be angry about my foolish behavior. 对于我的冒昧行为，请不要生气。

4. be angry for sth 因为某事而生气。

I was angry with myself for making such a stupid mistake.我因为犯了这么愚蠢的错误而在生自己的气。

He was angry with me for not having done anything. 因为我什么也没做，他对我很生气。

I was angry with him for keeping me waiting. 我对他很生气，因为他让我等了好久。

He get angry with me for not have write. 他因我不给他写信对我生气。

I am angry with myself for making such a stupid mistake 我因为犯了这麽愚蠢的错误而在生自己的气 

She was angry with him for saying so.她因他这样说而生他的气。

5. 注：be angry 之后除搭配介词外，还可接不定式或从句：

He’ll be angry to find that nothing has been done. 他发现什么都没做，他会生气的。

I was angry to hear it.  我听了这话而生气。

He was angry that the door was locked. 门锁上了，他很生气。

She is angry that he has not answered her letter.  他还没有回信，她生气了。

We were angry that our request had been rejected.  我们的请求遭到拒绝，我们感到很失望。
