interest用法

 

1.   interest 作及物动词。
①interest sb.意为“使某人感兴趣,引起某人注意”。如:
　Geography doesn’t interest him.地理引不起他的兴趣。

It may interest you to know that Bill will be leaving next week.比尔下周就要走了, 你也许很想知道吧。

Does this book really interest you? 你对这本书真感兴趣吗?

This book interests me.

②interest sb. in (doing) sth.意为“使某人在……方面感兴趣”。如:
　He tried to interest me in buying the house.他想说服我买这所房子。

I don’t interest myself in politics.  我对政治没有兴趣。

2. interest作名词。

①  意为“兴趣”时,常作不可数名词

with interest饶有兴趣地。

  常见短语feel / have / take／find  show (an) interest in (doing) sth.,

  意为“对……表现出 / 有兴趣”。如:
　She showed great interest in the meeting.她对这次会议表现出极大的兴趣。

I have no interest in playing football. 我对踢球没有兴趣。

Do you take much interest in sports? 

你对体育运动很感兴趣吗?

  He read the story with great i_______ . 他饶有兴趣地读了这本小说。
②意为“业余爱好”或“感兴趣的事”时,常作可数名词。=hobby 如:
　He has two great interests. One is sports and the other is music. 他有两大爱好:一个是体育,另一个是音乐。

I have two main interests in life. 我一生中有两大兴趣。

He lost interest in much of his research.他对大部分研究工作失去了兴趣。

His two interests in life are music and paintings.他生平两大爱好是音乐和绘画。

One should not look after one's own interests alone.一个人不应当只顾自己的利益。

You should put the interest of the people before everything else. 你应把人民的利益放在位。

（3）利息。

Please pay 5 per cent interest on the loan. 贷款请付息百分之五的利息。

The loan is interest free.

这项贷款是无息的。

3. interested是形容词,

常用结构be /get／become interested in (doing) sth.意为“对(做)……感兴趣”,主语是人如:
John is interested in history.  约翰喜欢历史。
He is interested in drawing pictures.他对画画感兴趣。
4. interesting也是形容词,意为“令人感兴趣的”,既可以作表语,也可以作定语。

如:an interesting place =a place of interest名胜   

The story is very interesting.  这个故事很有趣。
This is an interesting movie.  这是一部有趣的电影。

例如：Science interests him a lot.

=He is interested in science.

     =He shows great/much interest in science.

 

二、掌握与其相关动词短语的用法。

1. feel / have / take／find (an) interest in 对……感兴趣

 It is said that he feels／has／takes／finds  (an)interest in English.据说他对英语很感兴趣。

2. develop (an)interest in 培养对……的兴趣

 He developed(an)interest in art a long time ago. 很久以前他就培养了自己对艺术的兴趣。

三、掌握含interest的介词短语用法。

1. with interest饶有兴趣地

He read the story with great interest. 他饶有兴趣地读了这本小说。

2. in the interest of为 为……的缘故

The names are arranged in alphabetical order in the interest of ready reference.

为了便于查阅，姓名按字母顺序排列。

In the interest of safety，no smoking is allowed. 为了安全，严禁吸烟。

We study for the interest of the people. 我们为人民的利益而学习。  

四、掌握变化形式用法。

1. interested adj. 感兴趣的  常用于下列短语中：

①be interested in对……感兴趣（强调状态）

As far as I know，he is interested in writing stories. 据我所知，他对写小说感兴趣。

②be/get／become interested in变得对……感兴趣（强调动作）

  Step by step，he got interested in foreign literature. 他逐渐对外国文学感兴趣了。   

③get sb interested in 使某人对……感兴趣。

 Mr Li has a strange way to get his students interested in his class. 李老师有一种很奇特的方法让他的学生对他的课感兴趣。

2. interesting adj. 令人感兴趣的

Don’t you think this is an interesting storybook for children? 难道你不认为这是一本有趣的儿童故事书吗?
