王子洲，中国（香港）文化艺术交流协会副主席、安徽艺术职业学院客座教授、延安青年文学艺术家协会名誉主席、北京东方山河画院副院长、一级美术师。早年师从王家和先生，毕业于北京画院（导师：彭培泉、石齐）。自1990年起先后在安徽、北京、南京、日本福冈、法国巴黎、比利时布鲁塞尔等地十七次举办书画展览及艺术交流活动。国内外二百多家新闻媒介对其艺术成就予以专题报道。其作品广为海内外艺术馆、博物馆收藏。出版有：《子洲画鸡选集》、《子洲画鸡新作》、《王子洲画集》等。2005年（农历鸡年）中国中央电视台春节联欢晚会选其20幅作为舞台背景。王子洲先生不仅艺术成就卓著，而且高度关注社会公益事业。2002年捐资成立全国第一个以画家名字命名的希望工程助学基金——“安徽希望工程子洲助学基金”。该基金现已在全国范围内资助206名特困小学生、100名特困大学生、在安徽省援建3所“子洲希望小学”。2003年荣获“希望工程贡献奖”、2004年与任长霞等42位全国各界英模荣获“中国世纪风采人物”称号、2005年团中央授予“全国青年文化名人”称号、荣获2007年度“中国当代优秀艺术家”称号、2007年5月4日作为全国唯一书画家代表与麦贤得、张海迪、杨利伟等226名建国以来全国英模在北京人民大会堂光荣出席“中国青年群英会”。2009年5月8日荣获安徽爱心慈善行为楷模荣誉称号。享有“画鸡国手”、“爱心画家”等美誉。
