本节课主要围绕My birhtday这一学生熟悉的话题展开写作的探究教学，设计环节上层层递进，体现充分尊重学生已有知识经验为前提，教学设计符合学生的实际情况，周密地考虑到学生存在“已有知识经验和思想方法基础”的事实。教学中倡导探究、合作和体验的学习模式，学生从知识、情感、习惯等方面得到了全面得培养和提升，同时也提高了学生对他人成果的评价能力和鉴赏水平。

小学阶段的四种时态是本节课复习的教学目标。为了能唤起学生对四种时态的记忆，在以前学习的基础上加以总结和概括，并能够在情景中得以相应的运用，整个课的重点放在了四种时态的分层和综合操练上。在创设了明天我们毕业的大情景下，帮助学生唤起内心中的那份情感，然后再逐个的出现所要复习的时态，并运用各种方式逐个训练，并在最后将四种时态相结合，融会贯通，以达到课前所设定的复习目标。
