PEP 2  Unit 6  How many?

Part A  Lets learn

一、教学目标

1. 认知目标: 

1)能够熟练运用数字eleven, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen

2)能结合所学句型How many ...do you see? see...进行相关对话游戏。 

2. 能力目标:

1)听说认读数字11--15,并能在日常生活中拓展运用,感受数字的重要性。 

2)根据指令做动作,培养一定的直接思维能力。 

3)注重各学科间的渗透,创设多种情景教学,激发学生勤于思考,主动探究,积极参与的能力。 
3. 情感态度目标:

1)将教学内容与生活相连,引导学生关注生活,热爱生活。 

2)通过多种教学活动,培养学生参与合作的意识。

二、教学重点:

学习和掌握数字1115 

三、教学难点:

1)数字的认读及数字thirteen, fifteen的发音和认读。 

2)在熟练的认知五个生词的基础上,能在相关的情境中进行交际、运用。

Step 1:Warming-up

1.Greeting

T: Hello! I’m your new teacher today.

You can call me Miss Yuan....

Ss: Hello!

2.Let’s Sing

Sing the song “An apple a day.”

PPT出示 an apple

3.Lets shout out!

T: How many apples?

Ss: An apple./ Two apples.

-s以鲜红色标出,提示学生注意名词的复数形式。

  ...

  T: How many grapes?

  Ss: Eight grapes.

PPT中用?代替数字出示,引导学生自主探究。)

T: Look! They are all fruits.

  I like fruits. Do you like fruits?

Step 2:Presentation and practice

PPT出示水果店内部场景图。

  T: I like oranges. Oranges, please.

Assistant:OK! How many oranges?

Assistant: Here you are.

教师展示5张橙子小卡片,为下一个环节学生参与后以卡片作奖励做铺垫。

T: I like oranges. What about you?

将相应水果卡片递给学生,作为奖励。

PPT展示妈妈买水果的场景,并播放对话录音。

(听完录音后请学生补全对话、选择正确的单词。若学生觉得有难度,可以再分小句播放录音。)

PPT呈现苹果的数量,使学生能直观感受到eleven”。

算式:10+2= 12

算式:10+3=13

七、教学反思:

优点一:充分利用教材资源,做到了知识整合。本节课的教学设计是在三年级上册Unit6 Happy birthday!的基础上展开的。在那个单元里,学生已经学习过1-10的数字英文表达法,同时也掌握了简易句型“How many _______s?”,他们甚至对名词复数形式也有一定的了解。为了让学生在课上“数一数”,我将上个单元Unit5 Do you like pears? 里的各种水果单词加入到本课的warm-up环节中,既能复习旧知,又能以旧带新引出新知,同时对学生来说也降低了学习的难度。

优点二:有效创设情境,在语篇引领下教学单词。英语是一门交际性的语言,让学生不仅对英语感兴趣,还能真正做到将学到的英语运用于实际,是我们英语教师的奋斗目标。本课中我设置了买水果、准备食物、看风景种种有趣的语言情境,利用学生已有知识储备构筑语篇,以简单的对话激发学生表达的欲望。之后,我能自然而然得解决掉学生在使用语言时碰到的障碍:生词,真正做到词不离句句不离篇,使英语的语用功能得到体现。

优点三:及时对学生作出有效评价,学生的课堂参与度。课堂上对于个别学生的表现我会给予口头肯定或及时纠错,同时在每个环节结束后也都会设置全班奖励,比如:奖励听一首新歌谣,奖励欣赏一曲音乐,奖励观看一段动画等等。整体来说本堂课中学生的表现是比较积极的。他们对活泼生动的趣味操练和拓展活动兴趣浓厚,乐于参与到语言表达与运用的过程中,因此这节课的教学目标也得以顺利达成。

缺点一:课件中的图片不够清晰。有碍于本课的主题How many? 我必须在课件中加入大量的图片来让学生数一数。图片一多就会显得画面太过繁杂,影响学生辨认导致难以数清数目。另一方面,为了让画面的视觉效果合理,个别图片可能会比较小,特别是do a survey配图中的远处景物,不容易看清。

缺点二:活动环节设置整体偏易。本节课的主要句型How many...do you see?用于数数所见物品的数量,所以经过几次练习后学生很快便能灵活自如地运用。在最后一个综合运用语言的调查活动中,几乎每个学生都能靠一己之力完成分配到的任务,活动的难易层次得不到体现。
