教 材  分 析	模块2以My family为话题，以完成“提供和询问别人的信息”的任 务为目标，通过3个单元的学与练，旨在让学生通过这一学习与 体验的过程，能够就自己与别人的职业进行提问与回答，能够介绍父 母的工作单位与职业，培养学生用英语进行社交活动的最基本能力。

Step I： Lead in

T: Hello, everyone. Let’s enjoy the video. 

Play the song of "I love my family" on the screen. Let the students watch them. After enjoying the video, ask them to answer some questions.

T: What is the song about ?

S1: About family.

T: What can you remember about the song?

S2: mother , father ,brother...

T:Do you enjoy it ?

Ss: Yes, I do. 

T: Do you love your family? Yes or No?

Ss: Yes.

Then let the Ss look at some pictures about families.

T:Do you have a happy family? Please show us your photo of your family?

Step II ：Look and say

T: Now look at the photo of Tony's family. Let's know his family members, OK?

  Lead the students to say the members of family like this:

 

Then let the students remember the words , and ask and answer in pairs.

Step III : Listen and answer

Listen the text and choose the correct answer.

1. Play the tape and have them read and follow

2. Ask the students to read through the conversation individually. Then choose the correct answer.

3. Check the answers

Step IV : Free talk

Ask and answer about activity 3

T: Is this your mother?

S: Yes , it is.

T: Are these your parents?

S: No, they aren't.

T: Who are the girl and the boy?

S: They are my cousins.

Then show a picture on the screen .

Ask the students to talk something about the picture like these:

A:Is this your sister? 

B:Yes, it is.

A:Are these your grandparents?

B:Yes, they are .

A:Is this her husband?

B:No, that's her…

Step V: Language points

指示代词的用法:

This，these，that，those 成为指示代词，用来指示或标示人或事物，其中，this和that为单数，these和those 为复数。另外，this和these用来指离自己较近的人或物，that和those 用来指离自己较远的人或物。例如：

This is my bike , and that is her bike.

These are my books ,and those are his books .

当指示代词所指的事物已确定时，后面的指示代词指人时用he , she ,they来代替，指物时用it和they 来代替，如：

Is this your book?  Yes, it is.

Are these your uncles ? No, they aren’t 

on the left 在左边，on the right 在右边，是表示方位的介词短语，不仅可以用来描述人物之间的位置关系，还可用来描述事物之间的位置关系。

例如：My bed is on the right ,and his is on the left.

“ in front of” , 在… …（范围之外的） 前面，“in the front of”在… …（范围之内的） 前面，例如：

My teacher is in front of the classroom.(说明老师在教室的外面）

My teacher is in the front of the classroom.(说明老师在教室的里面）

Step VI :Practice

Places : hospital , hotel , school , bus station , theatre

Jobs : doctor , nurse , hotel manager , teacher , driver , actor…

T: Do you like these pictures? Who works in it? your father or your mother?

S:Yes, I do.

Step VI : Language points

1.These are Betty's parents.这两位是贝蒂的父母。

  Betty's 意为“贝蒂的”。这是一个名词所有格形式，表示人与事物的所有和所属关系.在句中作定语。

2.My mother is a manager of a theatre.我的妈妈是一位剧院的经理。

  本句中of 是名词的所有格形式，表示无生命的所属关系时，要用介词of 所构成的短语来表示。

这是询问职业的常用句式，是一个特殊疑问句，用表示职业的名词来回答。

提示：名词所有格形式相当于形容词性物主代词。

指示代词的用法:

 

1.作主语、宾语、表语 e.g. This is a chair.

I like these but she likes those.

2. 在电话中，this表示打电话者，用于介绍自己，用that询问对方。

e.g.  Hello! This is Bob. Who's that?

 

上面一行是人称代词的主格，在句中作主语。e.g.  We are chinese.

下面一行是形容词性物主代词，一般放在名词前作定语。e.g. That is my classroom.
