教师:准备教学录音磁带,玩具熊,47页书上三幅插图,动物图片,四会单词卡片(可让学生帮忙),小黑板。
学生:准备彩色笔,练习本。
第一课时
Teaching content:P46,“Listen and say the chant”
Teaching aims:
1.
掌握单词life polar bear arctic hare lake hill top across. 短语 catch a hare , jump in the water, swim across a lake , walk through the snow , run up the hill. 句型What’s over there?
能听懂会说句型:What’s he doing over there?

通过讨论活动启发学生的表达欲望,锻炼口头表达能力。
3. Emotional and culture aims:
(1)了解一些北极动物的生活情况。
(2) 用chant ,mime action等多种活动形式,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
Keystone and Difficulty:掌握句型What’s over there?,听懂会说本课chant.
Teaching aid:四会单词卡片,polar bear 和Arctic hare的动物图片,玩具熊

并提问:Where is it? Why do you think so?引出本单元课题“Life in the Arctic”,并教读单词“arctic”.

⑴师站在黑板旁边,遥指 polar bear问:“What’s over there?”生回答“polar bear”,让生明白本句话表达“那是什么”的意思。
⑵师板书“What’s over there?”放chant第一段,让学生跟读练习。
⑶pair work:利用黑板上的词汇进行对话练习。(如What’s over there?Arctic hare.)
