项目位于荷兰阿姆斯特丹西侧的运河沿线，近两年刚刚竣工的一个滨水公园。几个不同形状的岛屿，两条河道以及船屋构成了这个区域的结构现状。设计目的是实现Vondelpark和阿姆斯特丹森林游憩系统的生态连接，设计中保留了旧的铁路路基，同时利用类似装置艺术的手法，恢复运河原有的历史痕迹，该设计对于木材、木桩等元素的设计和应用很有特色。在设计调整后的水域设置了码头、亲水平台、桥梁，利用芦苇，水禽休憩区丰富滨水景观，使该地区成为一个独特的水上公园。

    TheSchinkel zone is an area along the Schinkel channel, located on thefringe of Amsterdam. The zone is interpreted as an archipelagoexisting of four different islands that house a large number ofrecreational facilities. The backbone of the design is arecreational and ecological connection between the Vondelpark andthe Amsterdam Forest, using an old railway embankment. The variousfunctions determine the nature of the islands: there is a tennisisland, an island of boat houses, a soccer island, a park islandand a nature island . By increasing the total area of water andusing piers, platforms, bridges and reed beds, the presence ofwater is felt more directly. The area becomes an unique Water Parkforming a new entrance for the city of Amsterdam.
