wish 与 should have

一、wish的用法

1、表示对现在情况的虚拟：从句动词用过去式 (be动词一般用were)。

   I wish I knew the answer to the question.

2、表示对过去情况的虚拟：从句动词用过去完成时。

   I wish (wished) I hadn’t spent so much money.

3、表示对将来的主观愿望：谓语动词形式为"would/could十动词原形"。

   I wish it would stop raining. 但愿雨能停止；

   I wish you would come soon. 但愿你立刻来。

二、should have的用法

   should have done用于谈论过去情况，主要有两个用法：

1、用于推测过去已经发生的情况。

   He should have arrived by now. 此时他本该到了。

   The letter should have arrived by now. 信现在该到了。

   I can't think why he should have been so angry. 我想不通他怎么会这样生气。

2、用于指本该发生而实际上未发生的情况。

   You should have written—I was getting worried. 你该来封信啊——我都开始担心了。

   I should have left London before 9, but I didn't. 我本该在9点以前离开伦敦，但是我没有。

   I should have phoned Ed this morning, but I forgot. 今天上午我本该给埃德打电话，但是我忘了。
