为siNRA和质粒共转染所优化的高效、超低毒性转染试剂DharmaFECT Duo是一种全新的可高效共转染siRNA
和质粒的转染试剂。而上述DharmaFECT 1,2,3和4则仅是针对siRNA单独转染的优化产品。虽然共转染siRNA和质粒进行报告基因系统研究越来越普遍，但对应的能够高效共转染siRNA和质粒的转染试剂则很匮乏；大部分的研究者依然运用传统的质粒转染试剂进行siRNA转染或者siRNA和质粒的共同转染，但是这些试剂没有经过转染条件的优化，往往对细胞活力产生很大的毒副作用。基于此，Dharmacon公司推出的具有在保持细胞高活力的情况下高效共转染siRNA和质粒的DharmaFECT Duo转染试剂。

      在一对一的共转染比较实验中，唯独DharmaFECT Duo转染试剂比其它任何转染试剂有更高的siRNA和质粒的共转染效率，具体表现为被转染质粒的高效表达和siRNA所诱导基因的高效沉默（见下图）。
