教学目标:
知识目标
1、能够听懂、会说、认读和拼写单词:river,tree,grass.
2、能够运用句型:—Where do/does they/it live?
— They/It live/lives in a forest /tree /river.
能力目标
能够说出一些动物生活在哪里。
情感目标
通过了解动物的生活习性,激发学生喜欢动物的感情,增强保护动物的意识。
教学重点:
练习听、说、读写单词river,tree,grass.
教学难点:练习听、说、读句子Where does ___ live? It lives in___.
教材分析:本课在前几课的基础上继续学习单词,并在学生学过地点单词之后介绍动物的居住地,让学生理解并口头应答。
设计理念:发散思维,拓展运用,注重交际。
课前预备:电脑课件、录音机、磁带、教学图片
教学过程:
Step1: Warm-up
1、Greeting.
T : Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
T : How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thanks.
T : We are so happy today. So let’s sing a song, OK?
2、Invite the class to sing a song “Bingo”
(设计意图:课前和学生用英语进行简单的日常会话,可以拉近师生间的距离,采用课前一首歌缓解学生的紧张心情,提高学习兴趣)
T : I like animals. Do you like animals?
Ss: Yes! We like animals.
3、Review
T: Animals are lovely. Today let’s see the animals together. Tell us what animals can you see?
出示单词图片,复习已学的动物单词。
[设计理念:复习巩固单词及对某一个地方的提问,为本节课的学习打下基础。]
Step2: New concepts.
T: Boys and girls, do you want to see more pictures?
1、Learn the new words.
T : Here are three beautiful pictures. Look, What are they?
(课件出示 forest图片及单词)What is this?
Ss: 森林。
T : Yes. Forest. Read after me.
(The students read several times.)
T : Can you spell it? Who can?
Ss: F-o-r-e-s-t. Forest.
T : Good!
river, tree ,grass 方法同上。讲授单词过程中,可以采用不同方法教学,例如爬楼梯、大小声、男生女生读等。
2、Play a guessing game.
[设计理念:巩固新学单词。]
3、贴图游戏。(让学生在黑板上单词的下面贴相应的图片。)
4、Learn the new sentences.
T : Different animals live in different places.
Let’s look! (Show the card of fish)What’s this?
Ss: It’s a fish.
T : Yes. This is a fish. Where does a fish live?
Ss: In a river.
T :(Show the card of bird) What’s this?
Ss: It’s a bird.
T : Where does a bird live?
Ss: In a tree.
T : (Show the card of panda) What’s this?
Ss: It’s a panda.
T : Where does a panda live?
Ss: In a forest.
4、Act and say.
T: We have seen many animals. What’s your favourite animal? Act it. Then tell us: Where do you live?

Step3:Practice.
1、Find the home.
There are some animals can’t find their home. Can you help them to find their home?(课件展示,让学生连线。)
[设计理念:拓展运用,使学生了解不同动物的生活场所。]
2、找图片。
同桌拿卡片进行对话。如:其中一名学生拿老虎卡片:
S1:Where does a tiger live?
另一名同学必须拿出森林卡片进行回答:
S2:In a forest.
若第一个同学拿鱼卡片:
S1:Where does a fish live?
另一名同学则要拿河流卡片:
S2:In a river.
看哪一组同学说得对说得好,给予小贴画奖励。

3、Let’s chant!
Panda, panda, where does a panda live? In a forest, in a forest.
Fish, fish, where does a fish live? In a river, in a river.
Bird, bird, where does a bird live? In a tree, in a tree.
[设计理念:自编chant进一步巩固所学单词及句型,让学生在说说唱唱中掌握所学内容。]
Step 4: Class closing.
1、T: Animals are our good friends. So we should protect them.
2、T: Talk about what you have learnt this lesson.
Step 5:Homework.
1、Listen to the tape and repeat.
2、Draw a picture. Talk about it with your partner.
