歌曲来源及背景:  

      这是首数数歌。最早见于1765年出版的《  Mother Goose's Melody 》， 与其类似的是19世纪末的一个版本，他只有开始一小节（stanza）, 内容中同鱼无关, 歌词如下:

One, two, three, Four and five,

I caught a hare alive;

Six, seven, eight, Nine and ten,

I let him go again.^[1]

      现代的版本源自于1880年美国Henry Bolton所收集的童谣。在Barney & Friends的少儿电视节目中播出。
