● Analysis of teaching material (教材分析):
This lesson is talking about the holiday. We must learn a dialogue about Colin and Kitty’s winter holiday. We have learnt some words and sentences in the second period. “Let’s learn” is the second part of Unit7. This class is the third period, in which we’re going to learn some new words and sentences about the dialogue.
● Analysis of students (学情分析):
Ss have learnt some words about the holiday in the first and second period, they can use them in the key sentences “(Where will you go?) (.I will go to …) (How will you go there?) (I will go to there by…) ”。
● Teaching aims(教学目标):
1. Knowledge aims(知识目标):
a. To be able to grasp the new words “hear, why, because, visit” .
b. To be able to grasp the sentences “I hear it’s a beautiful place, isn’t it? Yes,you are right. I’ll just stay here. Why? Because my grandma will visit us soon”.
2. Ability aims(能力目标):
a. To be able to say the new words in the conversation.
b. To be able to use the interrogative sentence “I hear it’s a beautiful place,isn’t it”?/ “Why?” and its answer “ Yes, you are right.” “Because my grandma will visit us soon ”. correctly in the real situations.
3. Emotion aims(情感目标):
a. Help Ss give attention to each other.
● Key points(教学重点):
The key sentences: “I hear it’s a beautiful place,isn’t it? Yes,you are right.”
“ Why? Because my grandma will visit us soon”.
● Difficult points(教学难点):
1.To understand the dialogue.
2.Ss to fill the dialogue and act it out.

[设计意图] 在课堂一开始学生先向老师问候,他们在心理上做好准备开始上英语课。通过向学生询问寒假打算去哪里及怎样去,让学生逐步在思维上也为新课做准备,由此自然而然引导学生一起来Chant,激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
Activity 2. Let’s chant:
[设计意图] 通过课件中的chant,自己做示范,让学生跟随我有节奏的一起chant,创设轻松愉快的学习氛围。
Step Ⅱ: Revision (复习)

[设计意图] 通过出示图片和单词锻炼学校的认读能力。
Step Ⅲ: Presentation: (新授)
1.Lead in: talk about the plan of winter vacation about Miss Zhang and I.
[设计意图]谈论我与Miss Zhang之间的寒假计划,学生通过了解这个计划,自然而真实的理解了重点句型的含义。

[设计意图] 通过我和Miss Zhang的寒假计划自然引导学生学会新单词,理解新句型。再通过游戏让学生操练并掌握新单词及句型。为课本对话做铺垫。
4.Open the book and listen to the dialogue,then do the exercises of T or F.
5.Listen the dialogue again and read after it,then answer questions.
[设计意图] 通过练习检测学生对课本对话的理解。通过跟读,让学生操练读出课本对话。
Step Ⅳ.Consolidation:(巩固)
Ss to fill the dialogue and act it out.
[设计意图] 学生在理解了重点句型后及课本对话后,依据PPT提供的情景进行对话的替换练习。
Step Ⅵ Homework
a. Make some similar dialogues with your parents or friends in the daily life.
[设计意图] 让学生和自己的父母或者是伙伴在日常生活中进行类似的对话,
实现语言生活化,实用化。
b. Copy the words on P 44 three times each.
[设计意图] 让学生抄写单词,强化认读和拼写。

板书设计是根据教材整合出来的,根据不同的情境来进行适宜的对话,红色部分是新单词。
教学反思:
本堂课的教学内容是教授四个新单词和四个句型。首先,我用一个Chant
热身,既对之前的知识进行了复习又激发了学生本节课的学习兴趣。
接着我用游戏的形式复习了第一课时所学单词及句型,让学生轻松愉快的巩固复习所学内容。
本课时let’s learn部分我主要是运用多媒体创“我与Miss Zhang之间寒假计划”情景对话让学生学习单词:hear,why,because,visit.重点句型:I hear it’s a beautiful city,isn’t?/I’ll just stay here. /Because my grandma will visit us soon.之后利用一些视听资料,图片及游戏来巩固所学单词及句型。最后通过Group work的活动让学生能在情景中运用所学内容进行交际。
英语作为一门语言,应体现它的交际功能,我一贯认为学生会运用英语是关键,给学生自由发挥的空间,通过小组合作,让他们充分的发挥想象和表演的才能,在真实的情景中灵活运用所学内容自编自演对话,达到自主学习的目的。
从整节课来看,有几个地方需注意:
第一. 教学时间安排不够合理,课文练习时间太少。
第二.学生在自编对话小组活动中,可给出更多的情景,扩大学生的自由发挥空间。
