一、教学目标

知识目标1会正确认读单词left, right, straight, excuse, lost并理解意思。

2.听懂目标语句Go straight on. /Turn left. / Turn right.并根据所

给指令找到指定位置。

3.听懂会说Go straight on./Turn left./Turn right.并可以给同学

正确的指令。

【能力目标】1能运用句子Wheres......?

Go straight on. /Turn left. /Turn right.进行简单的问路指路对话。

2能通过交流合作完成小组练习。

【情感目标】能通过使用Excuse me.有礼貌的问路。

二、教学重点

根据方向指示正确使用句型Go straight on. /Turn left. /Turn right.

描述指路的经过。

三、教学难点

能听懂并区分Turn leftTurn right.

(一) 

热身导入

1. 师生互相问候

 

1.Boys and girls . First lets show English, show yourself.

Whose turn is it today?

(Charles , please!)

All of you listen carefully, then Ill have questions for you.

Q: What animals are in the story?

   Who is in trouble?

   Who helps him at last?

Good, Do you like this story? Give him you favor.

Thank you , charles, go back to your seat.

2.Heres a picture , what can you see in the picture? Yes, this is the route of the train. Can you say the route? Now, lets say together.

Great , today lets go on talking about the route.

Lets learn Module9 Unit 1 Turn left. (板书)

设计意图】让孩子展示自己英语,并训练孩子听力。通过描述路线复习巩固所学知识自然导出本课新知,温故而知新。

(二)

新知呈现及课文学习

1. 出示Amy, Sam . This is our friends Amy and Sam. What are they talking ? Listen !(播放声音)

Q: Where is Sam going ?

   Where is Daming’s home ?

2. Sam doesn’t know how to get to Xihu Road. He needs help. Who will help him? Yes, He asks a policeman for help. What does Sam say ? Listen !(播放声音及出示气泡) 听后问: Who wants to be Sam? 3名重复Excuse me, Where’s Xihu Road?(张贴句卡) Sam is a polite boy. He says : Excuse me . If you ask for help or trouble somebody .You should say : Excuse me .

 For example.  

 Excuse me , What’s the time ?

 Excuse me , Can I sit here ?

 Excuse me, Can I play with you ?

How to tell the way, what does the policeman say ? Listen !(播放声音)听后,问:  Where’s Xihu Road? First ? 指名说。 教授Go straight on . ( 先是straight的发音, 再是Go straight on,5名读 ) Then? Number 2? 指名说。 教授Turn right . Right , right . igh sounds /ai/ r-ai-t , right . (点击超链接)操练light, night, ... Let’s read it by train.   (turn right ) Little train, little train. Do you know turn right? 出示向右拐图片,并在黑板上画出向右拐箭头。Please show me your right hand , point to your right eye, touch your right ear. Perfect. Then? Turn left. Follow me , left. Left. L-e-f-t . Left hand, left eye, left ear, what can you say ?(操练left 发音及体会意思)Turn left. Boys , turn left. Girls , turn left.  Yes, this is the way to Xihu Road. Lets be Sam and the policeman.

 师: Excuse me , where’s Xihu Road?

Ss: Go straight on , Then turn right. Then turn left.

 What does Sam say ? 引入Thank you . How about the policeman? You’re welcome.

3. Does Sam go to Daming’s home ? 学生自由说: Yes, no .What happened to Sam  ?

听音回答问题Where’s Sam now?

               Where’s Daming now?

Sam is lost. (借助听音能写学习lost)

Sam made a mistakes. He is not careful. What a pity! We should be careful about everything we do . Right?

4. Now let’s listen and imatite. Pay attention to your pronuncaition and intonation.

5. Now read the story by yourself or with your partners.

6. Do a survey according to the blackboard writing .

Did you finish? Today we learnt how to ask the way and tell the way.  Have you got it ?

设计意图】带着问题学习课文,使学生集中注意力学习课文。通过方向卡片学习目标语句,简单直观地让学生理解并区分方向并为以下的练习做好铺垫。单词的学习和应用结合自然拼读的方法和情境中应用,有效做到音形义的结合。 通过观看视频,在情景中学习句型,让学生明确句型的使用场合,引导学生在生活中运用英语。

拓展运用

 

1. Boys and girls , do you know our city well? Really?

Heres a map of places near our school.  

Can you tell me the way ?  Excuse me , wheres Jiaoqiao school ? (指名说) Excuse me , wheres the park / KFC?

2 . This is my way . Sometimes, same place, different routes. All roads lead to Rome. Now please choose a place with your partners , and draw your route, and then make your dialogue like this .

A:  Excuse me. Wheres ?

B:  Go straight on/ Then turn left/

      Then turn right.

      Its on the left / right .

A: Thank you!

B: Youre welcome.

3.Time is up. Which pair want to show ? (准备投影) 展示3组。

4.All of you did a good job. Heres a present for you. But how to get the present ? Here is a maze. Can you find the route? Now please find the ways and draw the route. If you finish , please stick it here and wait for describing it .(指名描述路线)

 Good , there are many routes to get the present . You should remember : All roads lead to Rome.

【设计意图】让学生在任务下完成不同层次的操练,利用小学生活泼好动的特点,用动手画一画,动嘴说一说等活动刺激大脑,激活已学知识,运用语言,学以致用,调动他们学习英语的积极性。

布置作业

1. Read the story for 3times.

2. Draw the route from our shcool to your home, and try to describe it

in English.

设计意图活动不仅限于课堂教学而且要延伸到课外让学生自己努力去创设一个学习英语的环境更好地学习和运用英语。
