我们用了三次课共12课时完成了CAE第一单元的学习，我悬着的心算是放下来一点儿了，主要是感觉孩子们都能跟上课程，并且按时完成课后作业（作业量每天至少半小时）。这个单元结束时，我给孩子们留了一项反思作业，写关于这个课程的“最”，最什么都行，只要真实。下面是部分孩子的分享。虽然第一单元听说读写词汇语法阅读策略写作策略等等我们涉及了很多内容，但孩子们的“最”聚焦在了三个方面：词汇（黑书）、阅读和语法（完成时态）。没有想到我觉得最枯燥最难的，反而是孩子们的最爱。

阅读最有趣

从我刚开始CAE课程算起，已经有一个月了。在这一个月中，给我印象最深的、也最令我感兴趣的就是阅读了。做阅读题的方式比较繁琐，总共有以下几点：

看题目，对文章大意进行推测；

阅读七个选择题，画出问题中核心词；

通读文章一遍后看能够回答哪个阅读题；

通读文章第二遍，细读阅读题提问的相应部分，将文中对应答案的词句高亮，完成所有选择题；

朗读全文至少三遍，将影响理解的词句画出来，首先看能否通过上下文猜测意思，然后查阅生词表或者字典，把问题标出来准备课上提问。

对照答案检查是否有些选择题的答案需要更改，分析第三步时答错的原因，将原因写在题目的旁边。

但是这些复杂的过程却着实非常有趣。因为，我们可以从阅读文章中了解时事，增长知识；另一方面，我们可以学习新单词，新词组，让我们的英语能力能够较好的提高；而且，在反复阅读文章、步步提炼的过程中，我们对文章的了解更深刻、对知识、技巧的掌握更扎实。我非常喜欢英文读物，虽然它们比中文读物要难懂，但是它们有着丰富的知识和可学之处，我从英文读物中学到了许多有用的知识。相比之下，其他的技巧题便不及阅读了。

所以，我认为，在整个课程中最吸引我的是阅读，给我英语水平帮助最大的也是阅读。我非常喜欢这种有意思的训练，并希望在今后的阅读中学到更多的知识。

阅读题最难

我和CAE接触大概有一个月了，目前给我感受最深的是CAE的阅读。好像读懂了，一做题却证明没读懂。

比如说吧：Unit 1 里的阅读2，我感觉he 不高兴明明是“因为被女朋友打扰了看电视”，可答案却是“女朋友用了本来应该是他用的东西”。我有点想不明白，如果女朋友没拿遥控器，没影响他看电视，估计拿别的东西他也不会upset。

还有阅读3理解的也和答案不一样，所以，CAE的阅读让我觉得很难。感觉比科普阅读还难，尤其是关于心理感受的，感觉像是给mind reader 出的题。

黑书最有用

我们都将黑皮的那本词汇书叫做黑书，但其实它并不像他的名字那样恐怖，它是一本很好，很有用的书。这本书包含的单词虽然不多，但它能让你牢牢地记住并灵活地运用每一个所学的单词。每一课里只有十个单词，每一课都会有各种各样的练习来帮助你练习这十个词。每单元前后都会有测验来预习和巩固所有单词。所以我认为黑书最有用。

Reading Is The Most Difficult And Tricky Part

After Mrs.Cao, a brilliant, awesome, wonderful teacher taught us the first unit of a book called Complete CAE. I think that the reading part is difficult and tricky. I’ve got a firm friend from New Jersey. He checked my answers to the reading passage. But when we worked on the answers in class, seven questions, I only got four right.         

完成时给我印象最深

CAE课程已经学完第一单元了，回想起来，也学了很多东西了。如何描写人物性格、如何阅读等等各种各样的知识已经存在我的脑海里了，不过令我印象最深刻、感触最深的，还是完成时的用法。

别看完成时是一个看似渺小、容易的知识点，可是曹教授也说了，这个知识点很重要，也很容易错，所以，我下定决心要把它学好。完成时，用中文说只是三个字，可是在英文里，它却占有着很重要的地位。

在各种时态里，虽然完成时在我心里并不是最难的，它却让我不断向上，它让我觉得自己学的还不够。所以完成时就是我从开课到现在感触最深的内容。

单词最有趣

通过CAE的学习，我学到了许许多多的单词，特别是黑书，我从这本书里学到了超过三十个单词，而且是全新的！这些单词有的很好记，有的却很难。对此，我想出了拆分的办法。拆分再结合，这样，具有相同词根的就容易记忆了。像surplus这个词，plus是加的意思，surplus就是多余。这本书里的核心词汇和引申词汇也让我对词性转化和构词法有了一点认识。我个人认为背单词不仅要看记忆力，更重要的是要看如何记忆，只有方法合适才能更有效地掌握单词。所以我认为我们应该摸索对自己最合适的方法来记忆单词，真正做到事半功倍。

词汇最熬人

在这么多本书中，我认为词汇书----黑书，是最容易的一本。但是，如果不做完作业后就马上复习，就会很快忘记，从“最简单”变成了“最熬人”。

我就不习惯做完后再复习，背下来。做完后就搁在一边儿，不到下次作业就不碰它。这样下来，无论一开始记得多么牢固，最后也忘光了。

直到这次曹老师留了测试的作业，我才猛然想起这回事儿，开始恶补，那质量也很差。哎，下次一定要记住次次复习啊。

The Most Important Skill I Learned in Unit 1

As I know, reading is the most time-occupying and the most difficult assignment instead of the advanced grammar. It takes me three quarters to complete the reading task"A Visit Home" in the workbook. I even cannot understand what the author was talking about. That's unacceptable. I started to ask myself a question: how come? Why reading task is so time-consuming? Finally I figured out where my problem is:VOCABULARY. 

I could only identify the basic word such as "eat" or "go". I haven't learned any reading strategy in an organized way.

For those people who lack in vocabulary, Ms.Cao provided an easy way to"guess". At first, decide whether the understanding of the paragraph or context is influenced by the new word. (to decide if it is USEFUL and FUNCTIONAL in the text) If not, the word can be neglected. (My problem is wasting too much time on these USELESS words, which melts my brain and wastes my time.)

The new word can also be identified by recognizing its ROOT, PREFIX or SUFFIX. The word "export" can be divided into 2 parts: the prefix"ex",which means"out"and the root"port"means"carry or take". By combining these two together, I can obviously see that the meaning of "import" is "carry or take something out of somewhere".

Ms. Cao told us that deciding the "PART OF SPEECH" and thinking about the word is positive , negative or neutral is not only a kind of categorization, but a good way to define a unfamiliar word quickly, especially for these multi-definition and extremely complicated words. Thinking about is the word positive, negative or neutral is useful when you can't define the exact meaning of a word. Soon you can infer the author 's opinion: Is he or she praising ,supporting or agreeing something, criticizing, opposing or objecting it or just describing it? Deciding the "part of speech" of a word is a good way to guess the meaning a confusing word such as the word. But this way is not functional without contexts.

That comes to deciding a word by CONTEXT. You can define it by looking these related words such as these adjectives and adverbs describing a noun or a verb, verbs indicates the action and reaction, nouns and even prepositions!

Word guessing skills are the ultimate vocabulary learning and reading technique. These skills are the most important learning strategy in unit 1. They are not only useful in CAE reading tasks, but also important in daily life.

At last, Ms. Cao told us: If there's a word you are impossible to define by these skills above, CHECK IT OUT IN THE DICTIONARY!

I Like the Vocabulary Book Best

There are 250 new words in this book. It has five units. In each unit there are 5 Chapters. Each Chapter contains ten words for us to learn.

I like this book best for two reasons. First of all it is very useful and affective. Vocabulary is very important for everyone to learn English. The book has helped me in commanding more new words which can be easily recognized in reading texts. Not only can I read the word which I learned form this book, but I can use them in my writing as well. Secondly the book is very interesting. There are more than six ways of exercises are often some interesting stories which attract me to read eagerly.

I like this book and I hope I can learn a lot from this book!

感触最深的内容

黑书最喜欢

开始学习CAE的课程也有一段时间了。从一开始拿到了一大堆书的时候，我就一眼看到了夹杂在书堆里边的一本亮黑色的书。着本书不算厚，但是当我打开的时候却吹拂过来巨大的压力。仅仅第一单元的50个单词，我只知道两三个，还是只见过而已。刚开始，我对这本书抱起了很大的敌意。

但当我真正开始学习它的时候，我觉得其实它也挺好的。虽然单词很难，理解的句子却还能看懂；虽然题目很多，却是渐渐的难。这段时间抽出时间看看它，再回去看发现全懂了。特有成就感。

好喜欢黑书。
