How To Be A Healthy Child

Many children nowadays spend most of their time indoors watching TV, playing video games, or eating junk food. Most of them know what they're doing is unhealthy, but they don't want to break their bad habits. They don't know that they can just start from little things, such as drinking more water, eating more vegetables and fruit, and walking more. When they have enough confidence, they can move on to bigger things, like playing video games for only 15 minutes a day, eating junk food once a month, and jogging 400 meters everyday.

Physical health isn't the only part of being healthy. Being mentally healthy is also important. A kid at my age should understand what's right and wrong and be able to make his/her own decisions. He/she should learn to control himself/herself.

In my opinion, being healthy doesn't mean excercising during your entire free time, nor does it mean never eating junk food. I think, however, it means knowing what's healthy and unhealthy and having the will power to stop doing the unhealthy things.
