    一号冰川位于市区西南120余公里处的天格尔山中，海拔3740-4480米，雪线平均高度为4055米， 其周围是2、3、4、5等编号冰川，大小有76条现代冰川，最大的是天格尔峰北坡的的1号冰川，它是世界上离大都市最近的冰川。
