情态动词must

must ：

本身有含义，但意义不完整，必须与其他动词一起合作构成谓语

he must be at home /he must stay at home /he may be at home

1)"必须"  用个时候语气较强用的时候要谨慎

---you must finish the job before five

-----it's impossible !there is only half an hour left !

I must do my homework at once．

We must speak more English．

You must help each other．

You mustn't do it again．你再也不能这样做了。

you mustn't play football in the street ,children 孩子们，不许再马路上踢球

you mustn't miss the early bus ,or you'll be late 你不能搓搓早班车，要不就会迟到了

在回答must的疑问句时，其否定形式多用needn't来表示“没必要，不许”。例如：

—Must we  answer the question in English﹖

--yes ,we must

—No, we  needn't．或（No,we   don't  have to )

2)揣测

A： you must be kidding ,I can't believe it

B: No,it's true .I'm not joking around

3) must have .对过去的揣测

A： I must have left my keys in the car

B:oh ,no ,did you lock the door ?

注意：说话人“不许”和“禁止”某人做某事，有强烈的劝告语气如：
