北京的景观照明分平日、节日、重大节日三个等级，重大节日级别将启用最高等级景观照明，随着十九大盛会的召开，从10月15日至10月24日闭幕当天，每天17时30分至24时，全市城市景观照明全部开启。

天安门广场中心“祝福祖国”花果篮将摆放至10月底，开启夜景照明为迎接盛会营造出更加喜庆热烈的气氛。

天安门广场内设置了主题花坛、花柱、花球及花带、东单、西单路口等点位设置14个主题花坛，城六区设置立体花坛54处，全市摆放花钵花卉180万盆。

长安街及其延长线（五棵松至四惠桥）的东单至西单段（天安门地区除外）、人民大会堂西侧路将悬挂258个红灯笼；复兴门至西单段、东单至建国门段悬挂256个中国结灯饰。
