Mathew 5:3--10     The Beatitudes

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are those whe peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

            Mathew 6:9--13     The Lord's prayer

Our father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptations,

but deliver us from evil.

   我们在天上的父，          Our   Father in  heaven,
   愿人都尊你的名为圣。      hallowed   be  your  name.
   愿你的国降临。            Your  kingdom  come.
   愿你的旨意行在地上，      Your  will  be  done, on  earth  as  it  is  in  heaven.
   如同行在天上。            
   我们日用的饮食，今日赐给我们。Give  us  this  day  our  daily  bread .
   免我们的债，                 And  forgive  us  our  debts,
   如同我们免了人的债。         as  we  also  have  forgiven  our  debtors.
   不叫我们遇见试探，           And  do  not  bring  us  to  the  time  of  trial,
   救我们脱离凶恶。
   因为国度 权柄 荣耀全是你的，直到永远。阿门     but  rescue  us  from  the  evil  one
