友人在我译卡瓦菲斯的一首诗下面，拿卡佛的《雨》做了内涵的比较。卡佛其实也是我很喜欢的一位诗人，虽诠释不多，但深深为他真实的笔触感动。恰好这首之前译过，与朋友们分享。

       《雨》 （Rain）

今早醒来，带着

一股强烈的冲动，想躺在床上整日

读书。和这个想法斗争了一阵儿。

然后望出窗外看着雨丝。

抛掉了想法。将自己完全

沉浸在这个下雨的清晨。

我的生命可否重新来过？

犯下这些不可原谅的相同错误？

会的，只消给半点机会。便会。

Woke up this morning with
a terrific urge to lie in bed all day
and read. Fought against it for a minute.

Then looked out the window at the rain.
And gave over. Put myself entirely
in the keep of this rainy morning.

Would I live my life over again?
Make the same unforgiveable mistakes?
Yes, given half a chance. Yes.
