衣柜镜子里的月亮                                      The moon in the bureau mirror

面朝一万英里之外                                          looks out a million miles

远离睡眠，                                              far and away beyond sleep, or

她宁愿让它下地狱去，                                        she'd tell it to go to hell,

她宁愿去到一汪水里，                                   and she'd find a body of water,

或一面镜子里，栖居在里面。                              or a mirror, on which to dwell.

把那一份牵挂裹进蛛网                                   So wrap up care in a cobweb

并将它投入井底                                            and drop it down the well

那个倒转的世界，                                             into that world inverted

那里左总是右，                                             where left is always right,

那里影子是实实在在的身体，                       where the shadows are really the body,

那里我们整晚醒着，                                     where we stay awake all night,

那里天国是如此肤浅而此时                      where the heavens are shallow as the sea

大海如此深邃，而你爱我。                                is now deep, and you love me.
