Before reading
1、Greeting. (T: Good Morning boys and girls. If you are happy,
clap your hands. If today is Monday stamp your feet. Are you ready
for our English class? If you are ready, Sit down, sit down,
please.) Very good, first let’s sing a song.
2、T: What’s this song about? How many seasons are there in a
year? What are they?
3. T: I would like to divide you into four groups：spring,
summer, fall and winter. Let’s have a competition, ok?

favourite season” 板书课题。

引出学生熟悉的人物，用充满童趣的声音扮演Zoom和Zip和学生打招呼，设置悬念，他们喜欢什么季节呢?
激发学生听他们故事的欲望。播放Read and write视频，初步了解感知全文大意
让学生打开书阅读，快速提取有关信息，读完之后根据图片提问，分段阅读，解释难点。
分段阅读的方法来读故事，降低难度，同时在阅读中注重阅读方法和技巧的渗透。
拓展其它动物冬眠的知识，拓展学生的知识面和视野，注重学科之间的整合和渗透。
适时检测学生是否理解。
