Before reading
1、Greeting. (T: Good Morning boys and girls. If you are happy,
clap your hands. If today is Monday stamp your feet. Are you ready
for our English class? If you are ready, Sit down, sit down,
please.) Very good, first let’s sing a song.
2、T: What’s this song about? How many seasons are there in a
year? What are they?
3. T: I would like to divide you into four groups:spring,
summer, fall and winter. Let’s have a competition, ok?

S: It’s about seasons.
Ss: They are spring, summer, fall and winter.

Ask one or two little Ts to ask.
2. T: I know in our class xxx likes…best, because…, and xxx’s
favourite season is…, because… Today we are going to talk about “My
favourite season” 板书课题。

T: What other animals sleep a long time in winter? (snake, bear,
turtle, frog, even some insects, it is called winter sleep) Can we

激发学生听他们故事的欲望。播放Read and write视频,初步了解感知全文大意
让学生打开书阅读,快速提取有关信息,读完之后根据图片提问,分段阅读,解释难点。
分段阅读的方法来读故事,降低难度,同时在阅读中注重阅读方法和技巧的渗透。
拓展其它动物冬眠的知识,拓展学生的知识面和视野,注重学科之间的整合和渗透。
适时检测学生是否理解。

he? Which season does Mr. Chang /Miss Yang like best? Why? Please
guess. Who’s right? Now please talk about your favourite seasons in
groups and tell your friends the reasons.
