In my opinion, "逆" means "1.方向相反。与“顺”相对 (https://hanyu.baidu.com/zici/s?wd=逆&query=逆&srcid=28232&from=kg0) and "旅" means "travel" "journey" see: https://baike.baidu.com/item/旅/34277?fr=aladdin

Therefore "逆旅" could means "a journey full of adversary conditions".

“亦" means "also", and so there are somebody else beside me in the journey as well. That's why I mention "you" and "everyone else" in my sample sentences.
