The most beautiful thing in spring is dawn.
东方一点儿一点儿泛着鱼肚色的天空，染上微微的红晕，
Fish-belly white color is showing slowly in the eastern sky with a tinge of red glow.
飘着红紫红紫的彩云。
Clouds with alternating red and purple colors are drifting high above.

夏天最美是夜晚。
The best part of a summer day is nighttime.
明亮的月夜固然美,
A night with bright moonlight surely is lovely.
漆黑漆黑的暗夜，也有无数的萤火虫翩翩飞舞。
Yet in a pitch-dark night, innumerable fireflies are dancing graciously in the air.
即使是蒙蒙细雨的夜晚，也有一只两只萤火虫，闪着朦胧的微光在飞行，
Even on a drizzling, misty night, there are still one or two fireflies with glimmering light flying around.
这情景着实迷人。
This scenery is indeed charming.

秋天最美是黄昏。
Sundown is the most fascinating time of autumn.
夕阳斜照西山时，动人的是点点归鸦急急匆匆地朝窠里飞去。
When the setting sun shines slantingly on the western mountain, it’s captivating to watch homebound crows hurrying back to their nests.
成群结队的大雁，在高空中比翼而飞，更是叫人感动。
Flocks of wild geese flying side-by-side high up in the sky are especially touching.
夕阳西沉，夜幕降临，那风声、虫鸣，听起来也愈发叫人心旷神怡。
As the sun sinks in the west and night-veil descends, the wind’s whistling and the insects’ chirping are relaxing and cheerful.

冬天最美是早晨。
Morning is most mesmerizing in winter.
落雪的早晨当然美，
A snowy morning certainly is beautiful.
就是在遍地铺满白霜的早晨，或是在无雪无霜的凛冽的清晨，
Yet one morning, the ground could be paved with white frost or the temperature could be bitter cold without snow or frost.
生起熊熊的炭火，手捧着暖和的火盆穿过走廊时，那闲逸的心情和这寒冷的冬晨多么和谐啊!
When you are holding a warm brazier with an intense charcoal fire and walking past the hallway, how harmonizing it is between your leisurely mood and this cold morning.
只是到了中午，寒气渐退，火盆里的火炭，大多变成了一堆白灰，
By noon, the cold temperature gradually subsides and the charcoal in the firepan has turned into white ashes.
这未免令人有点扫兴。
Wouldn’t that be a letdown?
