英文俚语: “Live with” 实用句子

“Live with”是我不时用的片语, 基本有四个含义: (a) 容忍 (b) 接受 (c) 共处 (d) 同居.
但其实你不用死记这四个意思, 用英文想象一下(Think English)字面的解释, “live with”是等于“共存”.
“共存”加上 “困难情况” 便是 “容忍” 和”接受”.
 一个人跟他人“共存”便是 “共处”和“同居”.

A.    他说: “(现今油价)¹是(荒谬)².” 她回答: “(<</span>喜欢与否>^3a/<</span>不幸>^3b)(那是现况)⁴, (朋友)⁵, (<</span>容忍它吧/ditto>^6a/<</span>把它妥善处理吧>^6b).”: He said: “(Oil prices nowadays)¹ are ridiculous².” She replied: “(^3a/ ^3b), (that’s where it is at)⁴. (Live with it/Put up with it/Tolerate it>^6a/^6b), buddy⁵!”
