一、教学目标
1.知识目标:
(1)能听、说、读、写单词classroom, gym, library, playground
(2) 能表演本课对话Where’s the library?
2.能力目标:能用Where’s the……?进行问路。
3.情感目标:(1)通过学习有关校园设施,激发学生热爱学校的情感。
(2)通过对话的学习,使学生更加懂礼貌,培养学生助人为乐的品质。
二、教学重点
1、掌握单词classroom, gym, library
2、听懂会说句型Excuse me. Where’s the ¬¬¬¬____?
三、教学难点
表演本课对话Where’s the library?
四、教学课时:1课时
五、教学准备:图片、单词卡片、录音机、磁带
六、教学过程
Step1 :Class Opening and Review
A) Greeting:
How are you today? Nice to see you. Are you happy today? How do you feel? (Greeting and review. )
Step 2:New Concepts
1、Drill: Ask the students to follow the directions. Give commands such as read a book, draw a picture, write and draw, play ping-pong, skip with the skipping rope. Then show them the vocabulary card and ask: Where do you draw a picture? Where do you learning English? Answer the questions myself: In the classroom. Classroom. Say it, please. Then ask them to say the word one bye one.
(引出单词classroom,并用相同方法引出单词gym和library, playground,采用双人读,小组齐读等不同方式来读单词。)
2、Game: The teacher mouthed the words and the students should guess. Then ask the volunteers to choose one card and mouthed the word. The others guess.
(这个游戏主要练习单词的发音。教师示范如何游戏后由学生自己来表演,能够激发他们的主动性。)
3、Demonstrate: Show them the posters of classroom, gym , library, playground. Hung up them in the different places. Then use the puppets:
Jenny: Excuse me, Miss Zhang. Where’s the gym?
Miss Zhang: I can show you. Here it is.
Jenny: Thanks!
Write the sentences on the blackboard. Ask the students to follow the teacher. Then play the audiotape as they follow in their books.
Point to the sentences on the blackboard and ask them: What’s meaning? If they can’t understand, tell them in Chinese.
(使学生掌握新句型的发音以及意义。如果学生不能理解句子的含义,可以用汉语补充说明。)
4、Read the text in different role. Play the audiotape.(整体感知对话内容,并规范发音。)
5、Role-play: Ask the students to find partners and take turns asking and showing directions. The students should walk around the classroom to the different signs as they speak.(对话练习,教师在此过程中对掌握得不好的学生进行个别辅导。)
6、Present: Ask for volunteers to say the dialogue and walk to the appropriate sign for the whole class.
(给学生提供应用与展示的机会,并要求其他学生认真倾听,学习他人的优点。)
(1) Draw a picture of our school. Write the words classroom, gym, library and playground in the picture.
(2) Practice the dialogue with your partner in our school. You should take your partner to the real classroom, gym or library.
