On Tuesday, the 7th of November, our
Maple Bear team took some well deserved time off from advancing the
students minds and went to the local park to release some energy on
a beautiful day. The students had the opportunity to run around and
soak up the sun without having to worry about keeping their voices
to a minimum. We actually encouraged the students to run around as
fast as they could and be as loud as possible. There wasn’t a
single kid that argued with that logic. It was a beautiful
adventure that seemed to go by far too quickly.

Students were given the job of completing a nature scavenger hunt
as we ventured around the park. It was wonderful to see the
students finding something on their list and joyfully calling over
the other students to come check it off their list. It was a
perfect example of how the students are able to have fun together
and work as a team. Many of the parents and their kids walking
around the park seemed interested in what our students were working
on. Our students were very polite and let the other children at the
park participate with them.

As we walked around the park, our kids tried to
pick some trash on the grass, I could feel they were very proud of
themselves that they could do something to make our environment
more beautiful and neat !

After completing our scavenger hunt we took some time to lay out
some blankets and enjoy a group picnic. It was another great
opportunity to witness how caring our students are as they share
their snacks with each other.

The moment we were together will be very memorable in both
of our life!
