常见英文书信之二：感谢信

一、高分套路：（先学习文章思路，再学习怎么表达）

第一段：交代写信的目的；

第二段：回顾对方所作的事情；

第三段：强调事情的意义 或 愿意回报对方；

第四段：再次表达感谢和祝愿；

 

二、加分套话：（这些句子里面到处都是单词、句型和语法的亮点，一定要全部背过啊！！！！）

三、参考模板：（今天背过这套模板，可能下回考试就能照搬！）

第一段：交代写信目的

(1)How are you doing? (2)I am writing this letter/these few lines to express my heartfelt gratitude/thanks to you for doing sth.

注：

1、写感谢信时，大家一般都认识，所以这里没有写自我介绍；

2、第二个段落就是写信背景，所以第一段中连背景也省略了；

3、辉哥暑假班课上讲的是基本思路，后面具体讲文章类型的时候是可以根据具体情况灵活变通的；

第二段：具体回顾对方所做的事情

(3)When I （看照片、看录像、看那段时间的日记、回忆那段经历）, I just can't help thinking of you/ what you have done for me. (4)It was so kind of you to （对方做的第一件事） (5)Besides, you （对方做的第二件事，注意，这件事一定要出人意料，比如突然送了你一个礼物之类的）, which really surprised me. (6)Actually, I shall always remember （对方做的第三件事）, considering that,（对方做的第三件事情的意义）(7)Nothing will be able to erase our wonderful memories, and I will cherish them forever.

注：

1、这个段是典型的T-E-C结构，你看出来了吗？

2、这个段落的“E”部分，辉哥没有使用课上讲的那些“典型”然而“刻板”的“过渡词”，而是对其中的过渡进行了更为灵活的处理，这些在后面的每个星期的讲解中都会有所体现。（当时讲那些“刻板”的“第一、第二、第三”的用法，只是让大家体会到过渡词是什么东东啦！辉哥的良苦用心有没有让你周围的空气变暖一摄氏度呢？）

3、如果对方没有做三件事，写两件也行，写一件也行——不要超字数过多就好啦！

4、辉哥个人体会：对语言的升级真的是永无止尽！刚才在第2条注释中，最后一句话我本来想写“辉哥的良苦用心有没有让你感到一丝温暖呢？”，然后一想，这样不具体啊——所以又改成“辉哥的良苦用心有没有让你感到一摄氏度的温暖呢？”，然后又一想，这样有歧义啊——于是终于改成了“辉哥的良苦用心有没有让你周围的空气变暖一摄氏度呢？”——各位，这就是作文啊！

第三段写法一：强调对方所作所为的意义

    (8)You have not only done sth（第一个意义）, but also spared us the worry of sth（第二个意义）. (9)Your kind help/dedication is very much appreciated, not only by myself, but also by our whole family/class/school as well. (10) Words fail when I want to express my gratitude to you. 【9、10两句都属于“有用的废话”】

第三段写法二：表示愿意回报对方，并写出具体回报方式；

(8)I wish to have chance to express my gratitude to you/to repay you.(9)I will feel very honored and pleased if（如果你能来我家做客、如果有事情需要我帮忙、如果你能来中国旅游...）.(10)Would you kindly let me know（你的安排、你的决定...）?

注：一般两种写法中，按照试题的要求，写一种就行了，写两种的话字数有200多了！！！

第四段：再次表达感谢并祝愿；

(11)Thanks again for what you have done for me/us. (12) May you be blessed in everything you do.

注：最后一句话是典型的西方问候：“希望你在一切所行的事上得蒙祝福。”多么美好啊！

三、经典例题

（一）假设你是李华，最近去英国参加了一起英语夏令营活动，住在Mr.Smith家中，他们提供了你吃、住、旅游方面的帮助，请写一封感谢信表达对他们的感谢。

内容要点：

1.感谢Smith夫妇；

2.你的感受；

3.邀请Johnson夫妇来华旅游；

注意事项：

1.词数120~150；

2.适当增加细节，使行文连贯；

 

Dear Mr and Mrs Smith,

    How are you doing? I am writing these few lines to express my heartfelt gratitude to you for offering accommodation when I was in England.

    When I look at those pictures, I just can't help thinking of you. It was so kind of you to take care of me when I was not used to the weather there. Besides, you bought Chinese food for me, which really surprised me. What's more, I shall always remember those ancient stories you told me, considering that, they helped me know more about your culture and history.Nothing will be able to erase our wonderful memories, and I will cherish them forever.

四、作业(10•陕西)
假定你是李华。你们学校和一所美国中学签署了教师交流协议。在过去的一年里，你们的英文老师是来自这所中学的Sue Wood。不久前她返回美国任教。请你根据写作要点和要求给Sue写封电子邮件。

写作要点：
1.对她表达感谢之意;
