本课教学内容是新版PEP教材三年级下册第三单元的语音课，经过上一个学期的学习，孩子们已经初步掌握了26个字母的字母名称、字母发音和字母四线格书写，但还未达到熟练运用的程度。通过第一、二单元对a字母和e字母发音的学习，学生已经初步具备在教师的指导下拼读含有a、e字母的单音节单词的能力。本课将以一只猪为主要角色，创设贯穿整节课的学习情境，学习i字母的短音发音/ і /。着重学习单词：big、pig、six、milk。通过拆音、拼音、分类等活动，培养学生语音意识。并以提高学生“见词能读、听音能写”的语言技能为主要目标。

Preparation

1. Ss listen to the phonics song

课前听字母发音歌曲， 有利于学生调节气氛，激活学生的兴趣，同时复习回顾字母的发音。

I. Warming up

Review the sound of consonants and short vowels of letter a and letter e    

  1) Step one: I say the letter，you say the sound

  2) Step two: I say the sound，you say the letter

  3) Step three: Let’s blend

  4) Step three: Look and spell

我说字母，你说发音；你说发音，我说字母这两个环节主要复习辅音字母的发音。拼读字母组合、单词的环节主要复习a、e字母发音和基本的拼读练习，让学生为新知的学习做好热身准备。

II. Presentation and practice

Step one: teaching pig and big

1) Free talk

T: What can you see?

Ss: I see a pig.

T: Look! The pig is      .  (ppt动画效果把猪变大)

Ss: The pig is big.

2) Look at the video and answer

T: I have a video for you. It’s about a pig. Let’s find out more about it.

T shows the pictures and the words from the video.

Step four: teaching six

1) Look, ask and answer

T shows the pig with a birthday hat and a birthday cake.

T: How old is the pig?

Ss: Six.

2) Listen and repeat

T writes the word six on the blackboard and asks Ss to trace the letters with their fingers.

5) Blending practice of “-ix”

 Ss try to spell the words with -ix with their partners.

‚ T asks some of them to spell.

Step five: teaching gift and milk

1) Look and say

T: Look! The pig has a      .

Ss: Gift.

Step six: Listen and write

利用前一个环节设置的悬念，引入pig这一角色，并利用ppt效果的设置，引出big。通过观看视频，让学生输入更多含有-ig的单词。让学生自主观察、体验、发现i字母在单词中的发音。并进行机械化的替换首字母的拼读练习。然后，随意更换首尾字母对i字母的CVC结构进行半机械化操练。这些都属于拆分练习。

从这一环节开始pink、six、gift和milk都是CVCC的结构，难度大于前面的CVC结构。但是在前面的铺垫和教师的充分示范下，学生在拼读上不会有太大难度，因此，在这一环节上设置了听音辨音的拆分练习。

紧接着利用教材已有的资源—一首简单而又朗朗上口的歌谣对i的发音进行巩固记忆。教学时，教师要更注意歌谣的节奏感和韵律感的把握。

-ix的替换拆分练习，由师生练习转变为生生练习，学生参与面更广。教师可以通过抽查个别学生检验学习效果。在这一环节，教师将把练习的重心由“见词能读”向“听音能写”过渡。

单词milk的拼读过程中，l字母的发音是一个难点，要让学生以标准的发音形式练习单个字母音，又能在拼读过程中把l的音和前后的字母的发音很好的连接在一起，需要一定的示范和机械化操练及及时的纠音。

III. Consolidation and extension

Step one: Clap or freeze

由于学生英语的输入不足，辨音成为学生的软肋。这个辨音环节为本课时的最大难点。教师要在学生现有水平的基础上设置适当难度的辨音学习活动，既能达到增强学生的辨音意识的目的，又不会让学生对辨音长生畏难心理。

拼读的训练如果仅限于学生已学的单词，对学生来说没有意义。通过对例词的学习，学生应学会举一反三，自主尝试拼读更多含有 / і /音的新词。由于学生水平的差异，这一环节将以小组合作学习的形式展开。

最后延伸和巩固的环节，教师为学生提供了一个由歌曲改变的故事，英语的教学始终要做到“词不离句，句不离篇”。语音的拼读要与有意义的语篇阅读相结合，才能真正达到学生综合语用能力的提高。

作业设计

2. 独立完成作业本15页，2、3两题。

3. 再找一找含有Ii字母的单词，尝试拼读。
