Unit 1 Days
It’s Saturday. What’s the weather like? It’s cool and sunny. Where’s Toni? Here she
is. Toni is happy. She has a new friend. Her name is Sandy. Sandy’s family is moving
into the house next door to Toni. What can you see in Sandy’s box? Ping-Pong
paddles and a book are in the box. Sandy can't walk, she sits in the wheelchair. Do
Toni and Sandy have school on Monday? Yes they do. Can you find Lisa? Here she is,
she is sleepy. Lisa and Peter are in the kitchen. Peter is making breakfast. It’s
Saturday. No school on Saturday.
Unit 2 Sports
Toni and Sandy are at school. These are Toni’s friends. Donny and Beth. Sandy is
happy. New friends are fun. They are going to play sports. Do you like sports? Donny
and Toni are playing ping-pong. Sandy likes ping-pong, too. Can you play ping-pong?
Peter and Chip are playing soccer. Chip’s favorite sport is soccer. What’s your
favorite sport? Sandy can juggle, but Beth can’t juggle. Can you juggle?
Unit 3 Lunch
Sandy is in the lunchroom. She’s eating spaghetti. Her friend is eating pizza and salad.
What are they drinking? They’re drinking juice. Beth wants to sit down. She’s really
hungry. Donny and Toni are in the lunchroom, too. What’s Donny eating? He has
some noodles and watermelon. He has some pretzels, too. Toni wants some pretzels.
She has some chicken, salad, grapes and peanuts. Toni has a big lunch. What time is it?
It’s 1:00. It’s time for English class. Goodbye everyone. Don’t be late!
Unit 4 Months
The Superkids are at school. When’s the music festival? It’s in May. What’s the
weather like in May? It’s warm and sunny. What’s the weather like in February? It’s
cold and snowy. What’s the weather like in April? It’s cool and rainy. Chip’s birthday
is in June. Chip will be eleven in June. Donny’s birthday is in March. He’ll be ten in
March. Toni’s birthday is in October. She’ll be eleven in October. How old are you?
When’s your birthday? Sandy is good at singing. Beth is good at singing too. Are you
good at singing?
Unit 5 A Careers
Today is careers day at school. This is Ms. Long. She’s a vet. She likes dogs, cats,
hamsters and turtles. She likes rabbits, too! The SuperKids’ mothers and fathers are at
school, too. That’s Sandy’s mom. She’s a magician. She can juggle, too. What’s in
her hat? It’s a rabbit. That’s magic! Can you see Mojo? He’s on her head. That’s
Chip’s father. He’s a pilot. How about your father? Is he a doctor or a firefighter?
How about your mother? Is she a police officer or a teacher?
Unit 6 His and Her
Today is sports day at school. Chip is running. Mojo is running, too. They like
running. Look! Chip can run fast. Wow! Chip won! He’s really happy. Chip is hot. He
wants his towel. Where’s his towel? Oh, Toni has his towel. Where’s his water bottle?
There it is. Chip has his water bottle. Where’s his lunchbox? There it is. It’s on the
white bench. Is that Beth’s baseball cap? No, it isn’t. Whose baseball cap is it? It’s her
baseball cap. Peter gives her the baseball cap. Thank you, Peter.
Unit 7 What I Did
It’s Monday morning. The SuperKids are at school. They’re talking about Saturday
and Sunday. Everyone had a good weekend. On Saturday, Joey washed the car. Lisa
practiced the piano. Peter painted pictures, Peter likes to paint pictures. Sandy does,
too. On Sunday, Donny played baseball. Beth baked cookies. Chip watched DVDs.
On Saturday, Sandy studied English. On Sunday, she went shopping and got new
sneakers. How about you? What did you do on Saturday? What did you do on
Sunday?
Unit 8 MY DAY
The SuperKids are home from school. They’re talking to Toni and Peter’s mom. What
did they do today? Toni and Sandy made a poster. Sandy swam in the pool, too. Beth
saw a movie. Donny sang a new song. Peter went to the park. Chip wrote stories. Lisa
read books and Joey drew pictures. Donny wants to see Peter’s rabbit. Where is it?
It’s in the yard. Can you see his rabbit? How about you? What did you do today?
Unit 9 Around Town
The SuperKids are walking around town. Where are they doing? Peter is in the
restaurant with his father. The restaurant is next to the bookstore. Toni and Chip went
to the toy store. They can’t find her balloons. Where are the balloons? Mojo has them!
The toy store is next to the pet shop. Sandy is by the museum. Beth is skating and
Donny is skateboarding. They’re by the library. The library is next to the
supermarket. Where’s the bakery? Can you find the bakery?

Unit 1 Countries
The SuperKids are in school. It’s May 28th. School’s out in three days. Summer
vacation starts on June 1st. Beth and Chip can’t wait for summer vacation. Their class
trip is in June. Where are they going? First, they’re going to Australia. Donny is
pointing to the map. Look at the map with Donny. Then they’re going to Japan,
Mexico, Korea and the U.S. Are they going to the U.K. too? Yes, they are, Toni says.
They’re going to London. Sandy and Peter are talking to their teacher. Her name is
Mrs. Hall. They’re meeting Mr. Gray. He’s their tour guide. It’s going to be a great
class trip!
Unit 2 In My Backpack
The SuperKids are at the airport. They’re all ready to go! Chip wants to use the
restroom. Where’s the restroom? It’s over there, next to the telephones. Mrs. Hall,
Beth and Sandy are here, too. Did they bring their flashlights? Beth has her flashlight.
Oh no！Sandy forgot hers. Toni and Peter are at the airport with their mother, father,
their brother Joey and their sister Lisa. Toni has her ticket and her passport. Where’s
Peter? There he is. What’s he doing? He’s hungry. He wants some French fries.
There’s Donny. He has his water bottle. Is that his suitcase? No, it’s not. Whose
suitcase is it? See the girl? It’s hers.
Unit 3 Animals in Australia
The SuperKids are in Australia. Donny has a new friend. Her name’s Orana. Donny
and Orana are looking at Ayers Rock. The Australians call it Uluru. It’s really big, but
they can’t climb it. It’s too dangerous. Peter is looking at some Kangaroos and emus.
Emus are big birds. They can run very fast. A kangaroos is fast, but an emu is faster.
Chip, Beth and Sandy see a koala and it’s baby in the tree. Chip wants to take a
picture. He wants to use Sandy’s camera. That’s going to be a good picture! Toni is
talking to her mother on the telephone. Did she see a wombat? No, she didn’t, but she
saw a platypus.
Unit 4 Souvenirs in Japan
The SuperKids are in Japan. They’re buying souvenirs. What kind of souvenirs can
you see? Sandy has a new friend. His name is Ichiro. He’s from Tokyo. Toni wants to
buy some fans. Where are the fans? They’re over there, behind the key chains. Where
are the sweatshirts? Where are the T-shirts? Can you see them? Peter’s buying some
postcards for his friends. They’re nice postcards. What did Mr. Gray buy? Hmmm….
It’s night. Peter, Toni and Beth are sitting at the table. They’re writing postcards.
What day is it today? Beth wants to know. It’s Wednesday, Mrs. Hall says.
Unit 5 A Family in Mexico
The SuperKids are in Mexico. It’s really hot and sunny today. They have a new friend.
His name is Diego. They’re at a party with Diego’s family. Beth and Donny are eating
tacos and salsa with Maria. Maria is Diego’s cousin. Her aunt made the tacos and
salsa. Beth and Donny like tacos. They’re delicious! Do you like tacos? Do you like
salsa? Diego and his cousin are arm wrestling. Who’s stronger? Maria’s brother is
stronger than Diego. Diego’s father and his uncle are dancing. His uncle is a good
dancer, but his father is better. How about your father? Is he a good dancer?
Unit 6 Places in New York
The SuperKids are in the U.S. They’re in New York. But where’s Toni? They
can’t find her. They looked in the arcade, but she’s not there. Are the SuperKids
happy? No, they’re not. Beth is in the gift shop. She wants to buy a sweatshirt. How
much are the sweatshirts? They’re 25 dollars. Beth will buy one. A sweatshirt is a
good souvenir. Donny and Sandy are next to the museum. But where’s Toni? There
she is! Donny can see her. Toni has a new friend. Toni’s friend’s name is Kai. Where
were they? They were in the candy store. They’re eating candy bars.
Unit 7 Sightseeing in Korea
The SuperKids are in Korea. They’re going sightseeing. Donny wants to see a show.
The show is on July 1st. What’s the date today? Mr. Gray says it’s June 23rd. Donny
can’t see the show today. Beth and Sandy are next to a gift shop. What souvenirs do
you see? Sandy wants to buy some souvenirs, Beth wants to go to the aquarium. They
can buy souvenirs, then go to the aquarium. Chip and Mrs. Hall are going to take a
boat ride. Toni doesn’t want to take a boat ride. She wants to see a show. Pete has a
new friend. His friend’s name’s Soon Yong. Peter wants a picture with his new friend.

Unit 8 Fun Day in the U.K.
The SuperKids are in the U.K. They’re at an amusement park. Look at all those rides.
The Ferris wheel is really big. The roller coaster looks scary. Can you see the cable
cars? There are Peter and Donny. What are they going to do? They’re going to go on
the Ferris wheel. Then they’re going to get some cotton candy. Do you like cotton
candy? Beth has a new friend. Her name’s Emily. Beth is really hungry. Emily is
hungry, too. They’re going to get some corn dogs. Do you like corn dogs? Sandy and
Peter wants to go on the Merry-go-round. Mrs. Hall says OK. Do you like the
merry-go-round? Do you like bumper cars?
Unit 9 What We Did
The SuperKids are back home. It was a fantastic trip! Their families are all at the
airport. There’s Donny with his mom and dad. What’s behind Donny’s back? Is it a
souvenir? There’s Sandy with her mother and father. She says she took a boat ride.
What else did she do? She bought some souvenirs. She has a lot of souvenirs! What
souvenirs do you see in the bag? There’s Beth with her mom and dad. What did Beth
do in the U.K.? She went to an amusement park and rode a roller coaster. Joey and
Lisa are at the airport too. Peter has a souvenir from Australia. What is it? It’s a
boomerang. Joey likes it.
