I have done it hundreds of times.” You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

   今年的四级作文题与往年有了新的变化，主要变化如下：

1.题目形式有变化。往年是2-3点中文提纲，而此次完全没有，而只是引用了一句幽默的话入题；

2.字数要求有变化。往年要求字数是至少120词，而此次要求120-180词之间，不能多，不能少；

3.选材、话题有变化。往年与校园话题、社会热点话题结合的比较紧密，而此次话题较为抽象，讨论成功与意志力的问题。

   没有变化的是：

1.字数要求基本不变。往年虽未说不能超过180词，其实一般也要控制在这个字数之内；

2.命题作文不变。都直接给出了作文题目，考生不用自拟。

   总体来看，此次作文题是稳中求变，难度略有上升。

    今年的六级作文题有了新变化，很有意思。在开始写作前，首先要弄清林肯所说的Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe这句话的意思。从字面意思上来说，意思是：给我六小时砍一棵树的话我会花前面的四小时来磨斧头。由此可以联想到中国的俗语：磨刀不误砍柴工。除此之外，还要弄清命题者引用林肯所说之话与成功之间的关系。

     “磨刀不误砍柴工”表面的意思是在刀很钝的情况下，严重影响砍柴的速度与效率，在砍柴前虽然费一些时间来磨刀，并不立即去砍柴，但一旦当刀磨得很快，砍柴的速度与效率会大大提高，砍同样的柴反而用时比钝刀少。

　　深入理解就是，要办成一件事，不一定要立即着手，而是先要进行一些筹划、进行可行性论证和步骤安排，做好充分准备，创造有利条件，这样会大大提高办事效率。

　　简单的说，就是：比喻事先做好充分准备，就能使工作加快。（寓意）

   由此入题，弄清了命题者的意图，也就不容易跑题、偏题了。
