个人简介 Short Bio

外文学院英文系副教授，硕士生导师，语言学在读博士。1991年留校任教。近期主讲课程包括：交替传译，同传模拟会议，手语翻译入门等。曾于1999-2000年赴英国西敏斯特大学学习及进行项目合作，2005-2006年赴美国加州大学洛杉矶分校访学，2010年赴奥地利维也纳大学翻译学中心访学，并于2012-2013年度作为中美福布莱特研究学者赴美国加劳德特大学和乔治敦大学访学。

研究兴趣：有声语言及手语的传译教学与研究；语言学。

I have been teaching in Xiamen University since 1991, where I am currently an Associate Professor in the English Department. Courses I’ve taught in recent years include: Consecutive Interpreting, Simultaneous Interpreting and Sign Language Interpreting. I studied at the University of Westminster (U.K.), was a visiting scholar/professor at UCLA Linguistics Department (U.S.), and at the Translation Science Centre of the University of Vienna (Austria). For the 2012-2013 academic year I was a Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar at Gallaudet University and Georgetown University (U.S.).

My main research interests cover interpreting studies in both signed and spoken modes, linguistics, and language and cognition.
