目标 

1. 知识目标:

语音:动词过去时的发音

语法:规则动词的一般过去式。

功能:按时间顺序讲述故事

短语:decide to do sth. , be lost , hurry to place , knock on / at  the door , enter= walk / go into , be hungry , pick up , in the forest

2. 能力目标:

在本节课中,学生能听懂简单故事中的主要人和事件,同时能运用一般过去时描述图片和讲述故事。     

3. 情感目标:通过阅读童话故事提高对英语的学习兴趣、感受学习的乐趣。与此同时,学生在本课的最后会简单了解“金凤花原理”——just right的相关内容。

重点

难点 

本课的教学重点是学生能听懂并运用简单的过去时讲述故事,注意故事的先后发展顺序。难点是学生对于较多的词汇或许有畏难情绪,同时根据图片讲述故事时,动词过去式的发音也会给学生造成一定的困难。

Teaching procedures 

Before class, students will enjoy some pictures about fairy books and fairy tales.

【设计说明】课前的图片欣赏,主要是为了能激活学生关于童话故事的图示,从而逐步激发学生学习本课的兴趣。

Step 1   Free talk and warming-up

T: Do you like the pictures? I like the pictures because they make me remember my childhood. When I was little, I liked to read the fairy books. What about you? What did you like to do when you were little?

SS: I liked to … when I was little.

T: You know I liked fairy tales, now let’s enjoy some interesting fairy tales.

【设计说明】本环节的设计主要让学生能对几个经典童话故事有一个了解与回顾,从而自然引出下面的《金凤花姑娘和三只小熊》。同时让学生根据老师的示范,用liked讲述自己童年时的兴趣爱好,为下面过去时的引入作预热。

【设计说明】这里主要让学生通过一个简单的听力,找出老师最喜欢的童话故事和主角,引入本课的重点内容。

T: How to introduce the leading role?

【设计说明】主要让学生学习如何开始讲故事和介绍故事的主要人物。

T: What happened to her? Now let’s tell the story together.

Show a picture of a dark forest

Show the following pictures and let students look at them and describe what happened to Goldilocks.

 

【设计说明】这个环节的设计目的在于向学生呈现本课的重点单词与词组,同时由于在前一模块中,学生对于过去时已经有了基本的了解,所以在呈现词汇时,直接用过去时形式,开门见山、突出重点,为接下来的讲故事环节作词汇与语法的准备。

【设计说明】通过本环节的生生活动,让学生对于词汇与句型有一个运用与巩固的过程。同时,在学生们站起来对话的时候,老师让其他学生在听的同时做相关的笔记,进行及时的反馈。这不仅能养成学生尊重其他学生成果的好习惯,同时对于学生的听力也是一定程度的训练。

T: Yes, so this is Goldilocks’ principle.

PresentWhen you make the choice, dont think about whether it is big or small, beautiful or ugly, cheap or expensive. But choose the just right one. 

【设计说明】本环节主要让学生通过一段简单的听力,选出问题的答案,了解与升华本课的情感教学——金凤花原理(适合的才是最好的)。同时在听之前,让学生仔细审题(tip),因为是七年级的学生,所以好的听力习惯的培养也是至关重要的。

Step 5 Listen and imitate

T: Tony and Daming are also talking about Goldilocks and the three bears. Let open our books and turn to page 48. Let’s imitate the conversation together. Please pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.

【设计说明】本环节主要让学生在观看课本视频的同时,适当感受与模仿讲故事时的语音语调,以及一些动词过去式的准确发音。

Step 6 Group- work

Before the group-work

T: Up to now, we have known lots of information about the story. let’s tell the story according to the pictures.

Once upon a time, there was a girl. Her name was Goldilocks. One day she walked into a forest and ______ some flowers. The forest _____ dark, so she _____ lost. She ______ a little house, and she _______ towards it. Then  she ______ on the door, but nobody ______. Then She ______  the door and ______ the house. There ______three ______ on the table. The little one _____ just right. She finished all the food in it.

T: Now discuss in group of 4, one student describes two pictures. Then finish the story together.

After 5 minutes, let the students tell the story one by one.

【设计说明】本环节主要让学生在本课学习的基础上,根据图片讲述整个故事,由于图片较多,涉及的动词的过去式也比较难,所以在开展小组活动之前,先让学生集体活动,然后分组讨论,进行故事接龙,这样让每个学生都能主动参与进来。

Level B(选做): Tell  your favorite stories in group of 4 with a mind-map .

【设计说明】level A的作业是学生必做的,level B的作业学生可以选做,以小组为单位,选择小组成员最喜欢的故事,根据本节课学习的内容进行讲述,为下节课的展示做准备。
