tx + 12y = -3,t is a constant,if the slope of the line is -10,what the value of t?

题目解读:tx + 12y = -3,t是常数,如果这个线性函数的斜率是-10,t是几?

解析:原式可化为(-t/12)x – 1/4 = y,斜率为-t/12,因为斜率为-10,所以可得-t/12=-10,解得t=120

看一道乘法原理的试题

The three distinct points P, Q, and R lie on a line l; the four distinct points S, T, U, V lie on a different line that is parallel to line l. What is the toal number of different lines that can be drawn so that each line contains exactly two of the seven points?

简单看一下题意:三个不同的点P,Q,R位于直线l上,另外四个不同的点S,T,U,V位于另外一条直线上,两条直线平行,求只包含这七个点中两个点的直线条数。注意看contains exactly two,因此排除这两个点在直线l或与其平行的直线的可能。运用乘法原理,3*4=12

生词释义:distinct不同的,parallel平行的

题不是很难,但要注意问的是什么,看一下题意,某医院6月份出生89个婴儿,如果15号出生的婴儿数量比其他29天都多,那么15号那天至少出生几个婴儿就可以了。

平均一天生不到3个,但必须都是整数,所以平均一下就是3个,所以15号那天生4个就够了

这个题翻译很重要啊,跃跃咋一看题目就懵了,呵呵。解释一下吧,写给看不懂题意的童鞋,先要找到if分句的谓语is,然后分别翻译谓语前后的内容就可以了,3 more than twice a number比一个数字的两倍还要大三的数,is equal 10等于10,用公式表示2x+3=10,4x=14。

这是SAT OG官方指南上的一道数学题,题目很简单,但是不懂题目就麻烦啦。跃跃给解释一下,大家看对不对哈。一个数的3倍减去4等于这个数加2,上等式:3x-4=x+2,x=3。这种less than/more than的题读起来总是很绕嘴,大家要学会断句,才好应对。

再来一道less than/more than,看到这种题就懵的童鞋注意力要集中啦,比60少其20%的值比什么数多这个数的1/3,看不懂我翻译的直接看等式,60-60*20%=x+(1/3)x,x=36

再来一道less than/more than的试题,这种题目直译都比较拗口,注意is在这里就相当于equal,看等式吧,(1/2)x=17+(1/3)x,x=102

这里面有一个很重要的词product,在这里不是产品的意思,是乘积的意思。product of -2 and the preceding term:-2和前一个数的乘积,现在来解题,某个数列第一个数1,其后的每个数的值是前一个数和-2的积,如下:1,1*(-2),1*(-2)*(-2)…,问该数列的第六个数是多少,1*(-2)^5=-32

生词回顾:sequence数列,term项,product乘积,preceding之前的,前面的

有童鞋看不懂题意,跃跃说你是词汇量还不够,多努力背背吧。看一下题意:某个奇数被5除,余数是1(满足这样条件的奇数个位只能是1或6),请问这个奇数的个位数是多少。答案选A

生词回顾:odd奇数的,even偶数的,divide除,remainder余数、剩余,digit数字,unint个位

直接看一下网友翻译的吧,将“prd数”定义为这样一种数,它的正因数(不含它本身)的积大于它自身。问以下哪个是prd数?答案是C,因为18的正因数有2,3,6,9,其积大于18。
