Claudia and Sun-hee are watching a baseball game in the park and talking about sports. Claudia says that she plays baseball five or six times a year. Sun-hee says that she often goes swimming and loves to play tennis. She also says that she’s not very competitive and just wants to have fun. When a baseball player invites them to play, sun-hee asks if the game is serious or for fun. The man says it’s for fun, so Claudia and Sun-hee agree to play. But then while she is telling everyone how athletic she and Sun-hee are, Claudia falls off the bench. Step 3 Watch the video and tell if the following statements are true or false, correct the wrong ones. Part A: Sun-hee says she goes swimming twice a week. (once) Sun-hee plays tennis about once a month. (twice) Roberto is on a baseball team. (tennis) Claudia doesn’t like to play sports with Roberto very often. (why?) A young man invites Claudia and Sun-hee to play baseball. Claudia says she and Sun-hee aren’t very athletic. (are) Claudia falls down on her way to join the game. Part B: Look at the pictures and match the sentences with them. Step 4 Watch the video and complete the conversations.
