How should parents help children to be independent?

Many parents help their children do all things, which can be found here and there in today’s society. As we all know, arranging everything for children is a bad for their independence. So it’s a right time for parents to think how they should do to help their children to be independent.

Well, in my view, parents should do the following things to help their children.

Firstly, parents can try to let their children deal to some easy things by themselves, such as calling on somebody, taking bus and buying something that family need. That will help to build their independent.

Secondly, as a good parent, you should make it clear to you children that a person should do the things that they ought to. As long as the children have the view, they will know it’s their duty to be independent.

Finally, parents should not help their children to make decisions when the children can do with it by themselves. They’re your own children and you can just to believe they can do it.

In a word, always respect their choice and let they do what they want to is the secret to help your children to be independent.208
