The Press and Information Section of the Delegation of the European Union to China is looking for an intern during the six-month period of February to August 2014. The intern will work under the supervision of the Head of Section.

Profile

- Chinese National;

- Fluent English and Chinese;

- Preferably university diploma in a relevant field;

-Preferably some European experience;

- Other European languages an asset;

Main Tasks

- Scan Chinese media in early morning and produce press review;

- Help to manage Delegation's weibo (prepare tweets, organize online events,interact with followers etc);

- Translation of various materials (press release, newsletter etc);

- Contribute during high level visits (events, press relations etc);

- Assist in organizing various events and activities of the Delegation;

- Involve in various projects of the Delegation.

Internship

- Position is based in Beijing;

- Internship should ideally be for six months;

- The position is unpaid;

- Candidates should provide a CV and short motivation letter in English;
