文征明是明代中后期最著名的书法家、画家。书法上与祝允明、王宠并誉为“吴中三家”。绘画上与唐寅、沈周、仇英并称“吴门四家”，与唐伯虎、祝枝山、徐祯卿并称“江南四大才子”。他诗文书画全才，号称“文笔遍天下”，声望极高，名气极大。

这是文征明在89岁高龄时临摹的一幅兰亭序，王羲之原作后半部分行书有点紧迫，在文征明这里，从头至尾行书从容练达，圆润流畅，如高山流水一气呵成。书家临摹王羲之一生，他人模仿得了运笔技法，模仿不了九十高龄的豁达态度，所谓画猫画虎难画骨~
