《嫦娥彩》,福建、金华叫“大五宝”；浙江松阳叫“五色茶花”。叶片较圆，色淡绿，叶脉明显。花径6厘米左右,牡丹形或完全重瓣形，花期12月至2月。花色可分为：粉嫦娥彩（粉色带红斑镶白边,附图15张）、红嫦娥彩(花瓣中间凹陷处有白斑,附图9张）、白嫦娥彩(中心处常有红润,附图7张)、花嫦娥彩(红、白相间，附图6张）、挂线嫦娥彩（白色带红线，附图7张）。一般全树99%是其中一种花色，偶然夹有几朵其他色彩的花。所谓一树能同时开出各种花色数量都很多的,纯粹是炒作而已。该品种10年以下低树龄花瓣多而挺立；30年以上高龄树花瓣少向后翻。主要缺点：夏秋高温顶梢易落叶“秃顶”易焦叶；叶片极易长 “炭疽病” 黑斑；根系较差易得“根腐病”；枝条软极易长“红蜡蚧”；高龄树花瓣少重度后翻根系差。上世纪八十年代，古市上方村，李宏福家大量扦插销售，古市乡村广泛种植。八十年代以前，古市上方村、上下源口村、内外孟村，均有古树！
