Establishment of Business Relations建立业务关系

学习目标：学生将了解如何与新顾客建立业务关系的知识。可以通过以下渠道与顾客取得联系，如：因特网，银行，广告，展览会等。建立业务关系的信函往往包含以下几个部分：（1）从哪里获得收信人或公司的信息（2）你的进口意图（3）简述你的业务范围、经验、产品，介绍公司资信情况（4）期盼合作及早日回复。

 

词汇：

1. exporter n. 出口商

   eg. They are leading exporters of electric goods.

   他们是电气产品的主要出口商

 

   <反> importer 进口商

 

   Export vt. / vi. 出口

   eg: They are exporting large quantities of textiles to the Middle East countyies.

   他们向中东国家出口大量纺织品。

 

  <反> import 进口

 

2. learn vt.获悉，得知

   learn sth. from sb./some place 从某人/某处得知某事

   learn from sb. that….        从某人/某处得知….

   可用于上述两句式的动词还有：know, note, obtain, have, etc.

   Eg: We learnt the news from our agent in the Southeast Asia.

   我们从我方在东南亚的代理人处得知这一消息。 

 

3. business 商业，业务

   establish / enter into business relations

   business scope 经营范围

   conclude business 达成交易

   do business with sb 与。。做生意

 

   eg: We have done business with A company for many years.

   我们与A公司已做了多年生意。

 

4. look forward to 盼望，期待

   eg: We are looking forward to your early visit.

   盼早日光临

   We look forward to hearing from you.

   盼答复。

 

5. hope n. 希望

   in the hope of 希望

   eg: We hope we could establish business relations with your firm.

   我们希望可以与贵公司建立业务关系。

   We are writing in the hope of entering into business relations with you.

   我们写信希望与你建立业务关系。

 

6. reply n. 答复，回复

   eg:  We anxiously await your reply to our fax.

   急盼你对我传真的回复。

   eg:  Please replay to us immediately.

   请即答复我方。

   We will reply to your letter once we have decided.

   一旦决定，我们立即回复。

 

7. fall v.跌落，下降，落（到）

   Eg:  The price of raw material falls.

   原材料的价格在下跌。

   These articles fall within our business scope.

   这些商品属于我们的经营范围。

We have obtained your name and address from the Internet. We are writing to you in the hope of establishing business relations between us.

We have been importers of Men’s shirts for many years. At present, we are interested in various styles of American Men’s shirts and would appreciate your catalogues and quotations.

If your prices are in line, we believe important business can be done.
