As China’s economy and luxurious tastes continue to grow, the world’s finest hoteliers are stepping up their game to ensure that Chinese guests are welcomed and receive VIP treatments.
The 430 members of the elite hotel group The Leading Hotels of the
World have been working at a breakneck pace to ensure that
Chinese guests feel all the comforts of home even in far-flung
cities around the world. Ted Teng, the CEO of The Leading Hotels of
the World, put it like this: “Throughout the Leading Hotels,
efforts are being made by many of our member hotels to welcome this
new wave of luxury travelers. From ‘little things’ such as offering
localized menus and welcome messages in Chinese to full Chinese
breakfast and room service items, to specially created tours and
