Ralph Lauren: “I don’t design clothes, I design dreams”. A nice quote. A good slogan. But behind, maybe the fact that fashion is also what you adopt when you don’t know who you are. Fashion is an industry, cloning our way of being, formatting into a piece of fabric a social status. With a fancy price tag of course. After all, Fashion is so ugly that we have to change it every 6 months.

    But still, I love fashion, fashion as a possible miracle. By miracle, I mean the possibility to become art. In short, to be an Icon. Cocteau: : Art produces ugly things which frequently become more beautiful with time. Fashion, on the other hand, produces beautiful things which always become ugly with time.

    So fashion is maybe just an expression of our path of life and a way to express our daily mood. And above all, a women shall not forget what Coco used to say: a women shall be 2 things, classy and fabulous.  After all, fashion fades, only style remains.

    So here it is. I mean, my definition of fashion. Fashion has no rules except the ones gave us by generation of genius designers: reinvent fashion by transcending its rules and its definitions. Fashion is in a single detail. Fashion is a a twist of smth unknown in your martini. A special flavor, and above all, a refreshing surprise of uniqueness.
