芭堤雅暹逻乡村俱乐部老球场是第一个私人拥有的泰国高尔夫俱乐部是由已故博士威拉Phornprapha成立。他的远见和热情，是看到一个高尔夫球场，将傲然屹立泰国的国际标准。在其38年的历史，自其于1969年9月开始建造，这个球场已预留作为东道主，如泰国公开赛的4次多泰国高尔夫赛事，许多亚洲高尔夫比賽和最新的世界级赛事“本田LPGA巡回赛泰国2007年。
