Today, liuliu did not feel very well with a running nose. I was surprised when i was told that she finished all the food I packed for her as her lunch this morning. She finished her yogurt as I expected. And an egg roll made with a fried egg wrapped with a piece of tortilla bought from COSTCO. That was a big surprise. Liuliu and I usually share the list of favorite food. Tortilla is definitely not in my list.

After she got home, she had a full bowl of vegetable soup and then 8oz of milk, which made me wonder whether she really finished her lunch. I asked her many times and in many ways. She always said yes to my questions. Plus, I trust what her teacher said. Wow! Is today one of the few days that her stomach is bigger than usually? It is funny that she had to stop to get air by her mouth when she drank her milk because of her stuffy nose. With a full stomach and a stuffy nose, she slept for about three hours. I guess the stuffy nase made her lack of oxygen and consequently  tired.

She was a little fussy this afternoon. I had to pacify her with TV in order to finish my work. Then, we watched Curious George together. The curious and mischievous monkey is like liuliu, never stops for a minute and always causes troubles. Yet lovely and sweet so they get their way out of punishment and blames. While she was watching the movie, I fed her with her food. She kept opening her mouth whenever she finished her food. Worried that her stomach would get hurt, I had to put down the spoon after 20 mins. She was happily watching her movie in my lap with a big round belly finally. I massaged her tummy gently and hoped that she would have same good appetite everyday.

We got a fathers' day gift made by her teachers. It is a magnetic frame with liuliu's picture took in her daycare. We burst into laughs when we saw her face in the frame. In the picture, she held a big "I Heart My Dad" poster with her smiling face embedded in the empty heart. She looked so innocent without knowing what was happening.
