2008年10月聚餐一览表

很久没有更新space了,我们还是以“吃”开篇:)  虽然12月都到了中旬,10月聚餐还是要来记录一番,很多外国朋友还等着亮相KIKI's Space,而KIKINAINAI更是好奇Trond的弟弟到底长啥样,特别是那个头发,哈哈~~ :P

2008年10月4日 Xiaozi家海鲜午餐

这是10月第一餐,可惜那天忘记带相机了,没有拍下Xiaozi和她芬兰老公为我们准备的丰盛海鲜大餐,美味只能留在脑海中啦~

 

2008年10月18日–28日 Frode来访记

Frode是Trond的大弟弟,比他小9岁,还有一个小弟弟Håvar,差了10岁。Trond家一共四个孩子,他的父母生育孩子在时间上很有“技巧”,他和他妹妹Bente差了一岁半,一个80年3月,一个81年11月,两个人年纪相仿,成长过程中有个伴,两个弟弟也是如此。因此,Trond和Bente感情很好,而跟弟弟们之间更多是“榜样”的关系,两个弟弟对他很崇拜,就像Frode说的,Trond is always our BIG brother! 虽然他个子是兄弟中最弱小的(KIKI补充:P)

Frode现在在奥斯陆服兵役,这次利用休假来卑尔根看哥哥。他是我第一个见到的Trond家人,自然是很热情的款待,准备了各式点心与零食,每天都烧不同口味的佳肴招待他,为了使效用最大化,有时我们会顺带邀请一两个朋友。而Trond也是尽量抽时间陪Frode,第一个周末租车游峡湾,第二个周末去科技馆,以至于小伙子乐不思蜀,本来只打算住3天的,最后硬拖到假期最后一天才依依不舍上火车,满打满算整整11天,所以整个10月的主题就变成“Frode来访记”了:)

Frode is Trond's brother, who is 9 years younger than Trond. He is now taking military service and working as a guard in Oslo. Frode is a very quiet and kind boy. Though he is younger than Trond, Frode is definitely much BIGer than my Mr.T in the term of figure ^.^ 

To be a qualified host and hostess of great hospitality, every day we prepared different dinners. I liked to show my Chinese cuisine while Frode and Trond cooperated to make some traditional Norwegian dishes. Sometimes we would also invite our friends. Now let's have a look about those delicious foods~~

2008.10.18  First dinner with Erlend (KIKI)

Today was Frode's first dinner at our home. At the same time, we invited Erlend, one of Trond's best friends. KIKI was the Chef who cooks her classic Chinese: fried eggs with tomato, braised lamb with carrots, fired eggplant with soybean sauce, Vietnam spring roll (made by Mr.T who kept eating the broken ones all the time :P)

After main dinner, we always provide abundant desserts. Frode and Erlend were very interested in explore the exotic Chinese snacks such as duck liver, chicken feet and spicy beef.

2008.10.19 Dinner with Dr. Fan (KIKI)

Today we rented a car to enjoy the Golden Autumn in Hardanger Fjord. We invited Dr. Fan for this trip with us. You can see more nice photos at this link:《秋暮金霜漫山野,冬朝玉岚傍峡湾》.

When we came back, KIKI cooked again. Besides common chicken wings and fried eggs, this time we tried a very traditional food, Niangao (Sticky rice cake, the white ones in the middle of the picture) that is only popular in some parts of China, but is one of KIKI's favorites. I can't buy Niangao in Norway, so my mother firstly dried Niangao in Shanghai and then sent it to me. The black thing among Niangao is called Mu'er (Wooden ear, if translated directly. Actually it is a kind of fungi that might grow on the woods). It also comes from China and is very healthy food.

2008.10.20  Morning: English breakfast (KIKI)

This reminded us of the holidays we spent in Scotland this summer :)

2008.8.20  Evening: Norwegian Pancake (Trond)

Trond is really expert at making pancakes! They are perfectly thin and even. Traditional pancakes are eaten with sugar (sweet) or bacon (salty). However, KIKI recommended them to try Shandong style with scallion. Only Frode was brave enough to try this "crazy" combination :P

2008.10.23  baked sausages with apple and cheese (Frode & Trond) 

Today Frode and Trond jointly made some Norwegian dinner: baked sausages with apple and cheese.

2008.10.26  Dinner with Alief, Fifi and their new-born baby

Weekend again! This time we invited Alief and his wife. Trond was the Chef and he tried to make the Norwegian National cuisine: Fårikår (steamed lamb with cabbage). The way of cooking was very simple, just put one layer of lamb, pepper and then one layer of cabbage and the like. However, after 3 hours, it magically became so delicious. The taste of lamb and cabbage suited perfect.

Alief's baby was born in this July. She is such a cute doll! Alief was the youngest PhD in our office last year. However, he was the first to be a Parent among us. Happy, but also with huge life pressure. Blessing~~

I prepared another Chinese dessert: sweet soup with Jujube, lotus seed and Bai Mu'er (White wooden ear... another kind of fungi which is good for the beauty of girls). I also like Biscuits and always keep more than five kinds of cookies at home while Trond is addictive in nuts.

2008年10月25日 师兄40岁生日

这个周六是师兄40岁生日,他和其他几位已经毕业的师兄一起回到卑尔根,大家在Mamatai聚餐。时间过得真快,年初在奥斯陆见了师兄一面,不知不觉已到年尾,去年的很多场景还历历在目,今夕又一年了。师兄没有什么变化,套用龙虾的话来说,还是很有男人味的,现在正式跨入“不惑”之列,祝愿他早日找到“不惑”的理由:)

但是不知道为什么,那天的照片全部失踪了,实在太可惜了~ 另外,Mamatai的老板娘Min姐是上海人,那天她烧了一桌的上海菜,味道好极了~ 特别是“米涂大海蟹”(我们这里没有毛蟹),一下子吃了无数块。第二天我和Trond听完朋友的音乐会,路过Mamatai,又去蹭了一顿,是师兄做的东北饺子,东北男人做东北饺子,味道也是没得说的~ 这两天是大饱口福,“Ki大厨”的头衔是自封的,而师兄和Min姐的厨艺是群众公认的,Min姐更是靠这吃饭的^.^

 

2008年10月31日 范博士&KIKI联合请客

范老师的厨艺已经不用KIKI再多加描述了,本来是借着“梅出版”回国的由头,以“范老师和KIKI”的名义请大家吃饭,最后变为范老师独撑大局,一个人烧了11个菜!!!KIKI的炒饭和Mr.T的蛋糕只能缩在角落里做“花边”,与那11个菜的规模比,还轮不上“花瓶”的大小~ 哈哈~~
