1.1. Navigate to the DFF Segments form

1.2. Query for the  GL 'captured Information' DFF

1.3. Unfreeze it.

1.4. Set Reference Field to CONTEXT3, you should be able to select it from the LOV.

1.5. Save, Freeze, compile.

1.6. Restart oacore using the following commands:

ADMIN_SCRIPTS_TOP/adoacorectl.sh shutdown

ADMIN_SCRIPTS_TOP/adoacorectl.sh startall

2. Retest Journal Entry from WebADI.

3. Retest Journal Entry from the GL forms.

4. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

To implement the solution:

1. Uncheck the Synchronize flag for both the Enter Journals: Lines and Enter Journals: Captured Information descriptive flexfields.

2. For the Enter Journals: Captured Information descriptive flexfield, change the reference field from CONTEXT3 to ACCOUNT_NUM.

3. On the WebADI worksheet, double click on the Descriptive Flexfield field to enter the information. Then you should be prompted to enter the data for the segments defined for that Descriptive Flexfield and context.

So for the Enter Journals: Captured Information Descriptive Flexfield, double click in the Captured Info DFF field.

For the Enter Journals: Lines Descriptive Flexfield, double click in the Line DFF field.

4. When you upload from WebADI, select the 'Descriptive Flexfields: Upload Without Validation' button.
