I would never class you as boring!!  As for surgery pretty awesome if you ask me...I am sure you have plenty of taste on how to live a good life, the major challenge is juggling it around being a surgeon as you are extremely dedicated and give your all...I am very grateful  that you are a boring surgeon if that's your view of your self...I am proof of your achievements!!
