Mom: May, do you mind helping me prepare for the picnic?
May: Sure. Have you checked the weather report?
Mom: Yes. It says it will be sunny all day. No sign of rain at
all.
(Mom puts the sausage in the basket.)
Mom: This is your father's favorite sausage.
(Mom puts sandwiches in the basket.)
Mom: Sandwiches for you and Daniel.
May: No, thanks Mom. I'd like some toast and chicken
wings.
Mom: Okay. Please take some fruit salad and crackers for
me.
May: Done. Oh, don't forget to take napkins disposable plates,
cups and picnic blanket.
Mom: All set. May, can you help me take all these things to
the living room?
May: Yes, madam.
Mom: Ask Daniel to give you a hand?
May: No, mom, I can manage it by myself. His help just causes
more trouble.
妈妈：阿美，介不介意帮我准备野餐的东西？
阿美：当然可以了。你有没有看天气预报？
妈妈：看了。它说明天一整天都是晴天。没有丝毫下雨的迹象。
（妈妈把香肠放在篮子里。）
妈妈：这是你爸爸最喜欢的香肠。

阿美：是，长官。
妈妈：让丹尼尔帮你一下吗？
阿美：不了，妈妈。我自己可以应付的。他只会帮倒忙。
